Pros: good story, great characters, incredible descriptive writing Cons: a story dependent on the first two of the trilogy
Summary: "Born in Shame", is the final chapter in Nora Roberts’ “Born In” trilogy. It is a captivating tale that concludes what was begun in the first story, "Born in Fire". Once again, as in the first two books, Nora Roberts captivates her ... read more

Pros: If you only read this one it might be a good book. Cons: Book one and two had more feeling and emotion.
Summary: Born in Shame was an alright book. If you are a Nora Roberts fan, you might not be thrilled. The last book in the series of three, was slow and boring. I did not connect with Shannon at all. She did not have the passion or fire as Maggie and Brianna.
