Pros: Great Bosch quality. Glides smooth as silk. Very powerful. Cons: Not a dual compound so you waste time flipping wood around.
My title says it all. The quality of the saw is absolutely the best. I've used the Dewalt 12" sliding saw and did not like it at all. The Hitachi 10" is another I've used, and although that one is $100 more, it is a dual compound saw. Another I have ...
Pros: Top quality, full-featured Cons: No laser line
I've owned this saw for about three years now. I originally bought it to finish off our basement, using it often then and occasionally since. It's never given any trouble. Run-down of Features 13 amp motor, which is plenty 52 degree left ...
I couldn't decide between a table saw and a miter saw. I think I made the right decision by going with the Bosch B3915. It is a very high quality tool. At first I was concerned when the saw arrived because the packaging was very minimal for such a heavy...
Pros: Plenty of power, ease of use, Bosch quality Cons: None worth mentioning
First let me say that I have been involved with some form of woodworking, home improvement projects, DIY projects, etc... for more than thirty years. I am not a professional, but I do know my way around tools. With that said, let me say that this is one o ...
Pros: Dependable, solid, accurate, good price. Cons: Single miter. Handle grip a bit awkward. Dust collection output might have been placed better.
This model is discontinued. The new model has a lot more features. It's also over two hundred dollars more, and although I've heard lots of praise for it over this model, no one has ever said it's more accurate than this one. It keeps its angle. It ...
Pros: Bullettproof design
Positive and tight mitre detents
Current price under $400 in Canada Cons: Awkward to press the safety and pull the trigger on some cuts
I have had this saw for over three years and still do not regret buying it. I have mainly used this saw for trim and crown moulding work and constantly get compliments on the work that I do. Let me tell you that I am no master carpenter but when you have ...
Excellent saw. Best bang for the buck by gusser33 ,Nov 16 '04
Pros: very smooth glide, high quality construction, reasonable price Cons: none
The Bosch 3915 is an excellent saw. If offers the advantages of a miter saw and the cutting ability of a radial arm saw. You can cut wider pieces of wood with only a ten inch blade. Mine was purchased from Amazon and delivered promptly. Right out of the box it was dead on. Began using it within an hour of receipt. My advise is spend the most you can afford on a miter saw as the higher priced models perform flawlessly while the lower price models just are not as accurate, and accuracy is so important in a miter saw. This saw is amazing. I bought it because of the reputation of Bosch and the construction of the saw is the best.
Outstanding without a doubt by woodeater ,Nov 10 '05
Pros: easy to use, awesome saw for the money, great quality, built tough. Cons: not a dual bevel
This saw is by far the best miter saw I have used in quite some time. I used to be a faithful craftsman tool buyer, but have been swayed away since I bought my Bosch 3915. It is a saw that is so easy to use and transport from job to job.
I have used other saws including Makita,DeWalt,Delta and Hitachi. And for the money You can not find a better saw than this one.
