Pros: Cleans well, very quiet, uses very little water, electricity, and detergent. Cons: No "rinse and hold" cycle, tines on lower rack are not adjustable.
After my high-rated Maytag stopped working (after 8 yrs, the control panel stopped functioning), I did my research and checked Consumer Reports and spoke to friends and family. Bosch was not always considered a reliable brand. Back in the late 90's, ...
Pros: Quiet, nice looking, great design energy efficient, great cleaning. Cons: smaller silverware basket.
I am an appliance dealer/sales person. After having a 1500 dollars Kitchenaid while still ALWAYS recommending Bosch (8 years in a row #1 from Good Housekeeping)I decided to get one, since my Kitchenaid broke after 3 months. Kitchenaid uses a stainless ...
Pros: Quiet Cons: Doesn't clean as good. Takes too long to clean.
I have a Bosch Revolution Dishwasher in my condo. My condo came with Bosch wall oven, Bosch gas cook top, and the dishwasher. All of these appliances are just mediocre. I guess people think this is a good brand because of the German name, but I am not ...
Pros: It's quiet. Cleans very well. Exhaust goes down the drain. Cons: Small silverware rack.
I got a little scared because I purchased this dishwasher and then found some bad reviews. I got it home and had no problem installing it. This unit makes very little noise but for some reason my dog keeps jumping up when it cycles (goofy dog). I was ...
Pros: Very nice looking, solid and quiet appliance. Cons: Doesn't dry the dishes!! No HEATING ELEMENT! Left overnight, dishes were SOAKED the next morning!
It was time to replace the old white GE unit that wasn't washing or drying dishes as well as it used to after 12 years of trusty service. Having researched all brands of dishwashers for weeks, comparing ratings, features, etc, I decided that the Bosch ...
Pros: Cleans well, quiet Cons: Requires Jet Dry, long cycle, walls stay wet, requires Diswasher Magic to stop mildew smell
It is quiet and cleans dishes well. But, the walls stay wet. I have turned up the water heater, and we have used Jet Dry as recommended. The walls are still wet. When you live in humid Louisiana, this is mildew city. The manufacturer says ...
Pros: Quiet. Cons: Poor cleaning. No adjustable racks.
We purchased a new model in Jan. 2009. The dishwasher rarely cleans all of the dishes placed in the dishwasher. There is always a residue of some sort that is not food or soap film on at least one dish. The dishwasher has discolored all of our forks, spoons, knives and other metal utensils. We had the service people visit the house 4 different times checking the installation and settings. We have tried different types and amounts of detergent as recommended by both the dealer and Bosch. We made certain the hot water ran long enough through the kitchen faucet to get the hot water flowing before starting the dishwasher as recommended by the dealer and Bosch. We tried using, not using, adjusting the quantity of rinse agent as recommended by the dealer and Bosch. Nothing has worked. Getting the proverbial run-around on it now by both the dealer, who claims they love their Bosch dishwashers, and Bosch. Will never buy another Bosch appliance.
Bosch SHE43M customer service by cynthiaparr ,Oct 11 '09
Pros: Beautiful color. Very quiet Cons: Customer service. Unable to repair problem. Local technicians.
After 11 months, my dishes were not getting clean. I contacted Customer service at Bosch. They had the authorized repair people come out and fix it - 7 times - no avail. Only 1 authorized repair in Dallas area. When I continued to call Bosch back to ask for a solution, they insisted that nothing was wrong with the dishwasher. I even mailed a dirty glass to the customer service as proof. Now I have a beautiful expensive 1 yr old dishwasher which I have to replace.
Pros: Bosch name. Cons: Bosch quality and customer service.
I have never written a review before, but I am so incensed, that I feel I must. The dishwasher smells unless you buy Jet Dry. The lower rack feels like a toy. A wheel is broken already. The only dish I own that does not fall through the enormous spaces on the lower rack are dinner plates. The silverware basket moves all around. Bosch Customer Service was the WORST, rudest and least helpful Customer Service I can imagine! I had to complain about the DW AND the Customer Service! I want my GE back!!
