Pros: Great Sounding! Small! Involving sound! Onobtrusive! Customer support! Payment plan through Bose.Com. Cons: Way over priced! Way out of line. A perceived rip-off!
In many ways Amar Bose can be considered to be the father of small speaker technology. I wonder if anyone really gave "imaging" a thought before Bose introduced its flagship model 901 speaker system in 1968. Nobody had ever heard small speakers ...
Pros: Excellent sound from tiny speakers, good bass reproduction Cons: High Price, speakers in recommended setup must run through bass module
When you get the package delivered to your door, you know you are in for something special, when it requires two people to safely move your speaker system indoors. Why two people when the speakers are so tiny? Well, the bass module is surprising heavy, ...
Pros: Great sounding for 5.1, DVD, or digital music. Cons: Price? Maybe until you hear these things shake you house.
I have had this system for 4 days and have played it almost the entire time. They sound so great. I have had other systems in the past such as Kenwood, Hardon Kardon and a couple of others. My A/V receiver is the Marantz SR7500. I had Polk speakers which ...
Pros: Great sound, unsurpassed quality. Payment plan with no interest or credit check. ) Cons: High priced, it would be nice if they could come down some on it.
Bose has been the leader in sound technology since the late 60's. They are most noted for being able to produce mind numbing sound in a very small package. The Acoustimass system is no different. The real question is, "is it worth the high price?" ...
Pros: Small, blends well, sounds amazing for big living areas. Cons: none.
Totally blown away by the crisp clear and loud sound coming from these little tiny speakers. Never heard any other system come close. Bose does it again. I have these paired together with the Bose vcs-10 center speaker. They all sound amazing together. I will never buy any other product in home audio.

Pros: space saving Cons: unable to upgrade to more channels
Bose kept on making these kind of speakers systems. Well lets be more specific, I have bought these BOSE AM speakers and they sound good enough, if you compare these speakers to others, they wont give you sound fatigue, but there is always one question that bothers me "what if technology upgraded again. AM 16 has 6 cube speakers system but most of the AM system relies on their bass module. I cant even classify it as a SUB because it does not produce that deep bass only loud punchy bass. I tried calling the attention of BOSE on these but they did not reply to my email. my recommendation is before you buy these system try to see the updated technology first. Now we have an 7.1 system and soon it will be upgraded again, so if you buy these speakers you have to resale it sooner or later because it cant be upgraded besides it can only handle 200watts.
I have an Onkyo with THX and 6.1 ch., and some Kef Speakers, but when I bought this Acoustimass 16 from BOSE, they simply sounded SO MUCH BETTER!! I tried them with Star Wars Episode II, and The Eagles concert, and sounded SO GREAT that i can´t stop hearing them. I have a Big white room, where I watch movies, so y bought them white, my friends told me that they couldn´t find the speakers and sound great, even the bass was awesome. I love my BOSE Speakers!!!
