This machine is designed to get you started in metal detecting. It is light weight, easy to operate and has a very low initial cost. The BH Tracker IV is sold in discount stores and at multi-brand metal detector dealers. A multi-brand dealer will be able to give you hands on training where a discount store will not. This machine is not designed for the experienced operator who will find the operation simplistic, giving inadequate depth and target response. On a 5 star rating, this machine gets 2 stars.
