Pros: Fast and very clean shave. Self-cleaning. Comfortable to use. Adapts to worldwide power. Cons: Must buy cleaning refills. Base is bulky. Automatic cleaning makes noise.
The 700 series shaver is Braun's top of the line group. There exists the 760cc and the 790cc models. This review targets the 760cc. The differences between the 760cc and the 790cc are fairly minor, and include: The 790cc has an LCD ...
Pros: Fast, close, very little irritation, solid construction, cleaning is outstanding. Cons: Big. Might require a case for travel. Cleaning cartridges could get expensive.
The last time I owned an electric shaver George Bush was President. And I am talking about old man Bush, too, not Junior. That old shaver was a Panansonic wet/dry number with the uncanny ability to always miss one big hair. It seemed that no ...
Pros: Love the pulse razor, cleaning stand, and German engineering. Cons: The trimmer location.
I purchased the Series 7 shaver about a month ago to replace my Norelco rotary shaver. My Norelco was 7 years old, and the batteries would not stay charged, and I started looking into a new razor for me, a good razor not a cheap one. I ...
Pros: Closeness of shave. Automatic cleaning. Comfortable shave. Cons: High initial price. Relatively loud noise. Cleaning cannisters have to be replaced regularily.
Got this for half price during a xmas promotion. I previously used a rotary shaver all my life. After buying the latest and most expensive rotary shaver last year I wasn't impressed anymore with the closeness especially for the price I paid. Heres ...
Pros: autoclean feature for super lazy people Cons: needs cleaning every other shave, expensive
I needed a new razor so I decided to splurge on the most expensive one I could find. It seemed so great in the video with auto cleaning features and a name that evokes sonic waves pulsing over your face cutting hairs. The main feature of the razor is ...
Pros: Closeness of shave, self-cleaning feature, 25-second quick clean feature. Cons: Like all Braun's razors, it's expensive. It's still a bit noisy.
I have upgraded three times from various Braun Clean and Renew razors. Most recently, I replaced my Braun Clean and Renew 360 razor with the new Pulsonic. I had upgraded to the 360 razor from an earlier version of Braun's first Clean and Renew razor ...
Pros: Excellent Shaver With Superb High-Tech Cleaning System Cons: Somewhat Overpriced;by About $50.00 On The Noisy Side.
Like most Americans I shaved with a Rotary Norelco (several different models)since 1977! Lately I've decided to try the so-called "foil shavers" namely:Braun & Panasonic. The reason being,is that over the past decade the Rotary Shavers that available ...
Pros: Excellent shave, long battery life, easy to use. Cons: Cost, availability of supplies. No cord carrying case.
First, I am a blade user going back over 30 years. My last electric shaver was when I was in college, and I replaced it with a blade because I could not get a consistently close shave at that time. The old shaver was a rotary shaver.Recently, I ...
Pros: Close shave, Stays clean, Quality made and excellent product design Cons: None
I've owned several Norelco razors given to me as gifts and a high end model I bought looking for a good razor. All of them caused razor burn and ingrown hairs on my neck. The manuals say this will go away with time. Not so. I was given a cheep battery ...
Pros: German engineering! Ergonomics Reputation Repeat buyer myself Cons: Could be a little beefier.
Well I finally received my new Braun 9595 and set this unit up and read the instructions. Coming from someone that has had a Braun Syncro model 7570 for the past 7 years I had high expectations. I was once again pleasantly surprised by this ...
Pros: it's a Braun? if you work it long enough it does shave you nicely Cons: takes too long no battery life constant cleaning loud turns off during shaving whisker pain
Wow - an elite Braun razor Pulsonic 9595 - thought it would be great. I'm always looking for a better shave, since I can't really use a blade and a rotary shaver gives me razor burn like crazy. I like the foil razor, and it can give you a ...
Pros: Comfortable, close, smooth, painless shave. Great built-in trimmer. Can be washed under faucet. Lithium battery. Cons: Very expensive. A little loud.
Braun 9595 Pulsonic I'd like to warn you that Ii have little experience with other shavers, other than some bad Norelco memories from the 70's... I guess that's why I never used electric shavers over the years... I thought they all rubbed, ...
The best of the razors but hope that it doesn't fail. by braunuser ,Jun 17 '08
Pros: Best design, best shave, best ergonomics, quiet, reliable Cons: Pricey and hope that it doesn't fail.
I have had a number of Braun razors over the years and they've all been the best of the best: Best shave, best ergonomics, best overall design and very reliable. However, you had better hope that it doesn't fail. A friend of mine bought one on my recommendation at Xmas time and it failed after about 20 minutes of use - and I believe this was just a fluke - but what's disappointing is that it's more than 4 months later and they haven't repaired it yet. He's had 5 telephone calls, filled with endless excuses and even a promise of a new razor but it's mid-June now and he still doesn't have either the new razor or his old razor back. THIS IS TOTALLY UNREASONABLE.
Pros: Long battery life. Close shave. Comfortable. Excellent pivoting. Money savings on blades etc.. Cons: Initial expense. Comes with cleaning machine-Use the manual cleaning guidelines.
I've been shaving with a blade for 20 years and will not compare this razor to blade shaving because NO shaver will shave as close as a blade,I don't care what you have. I also do not use the cleaning apparatus that comes with this Braun because I'm not giving up counter space or paying for extra cleaning fluid. This unit gives a close shave and has a battery life of about 10 days-no joke,I brought this on an 8 day cruise and used it for 2 days after that! I'm a thick growth guy - No Leo DiCaprio fuzz. My shaves with this take three minutes,so I use it on the john and kill 2 birds with one stone. I clean it by tapping the cartridge and running under water. If You go out on a Friday night,You'll need to shave again but this unit has POWER. I just wish Braun would make batteries for cell phones.Very Happy and not going back to blades.
Overpriced and Underperforms by leon338 ,Jul 13 '08
Pros: Great way to throw away money! Cons: Price and Performance
I bought on the hype that it was the best shave ever. Don't get fooled like I did. This thing is horrible. I have to shave over and over this direction and that direction and my skin is never smooth. When I really need a close shave I still go with my old Norelco Spectra. Don't waste your money!!!!!!!!!!
