Pros: Easy to use. For just bread or dough, it's a great little appliance. Cons: The loaf pan is almost more vertical than horizontal.
I received a Zojirushi bread machine as a wedding gift in 2000, but only really started to use it last year. The other day, the heating element died so I needed a replacement. Baking your own bread is just so much more economical than buying bread at ...
Pros: It worked for a a few hours Cons: Terribly made, no recourse when it breaks, Customer Service based on Pluto
I write this review in hopes that it makes certain that no one ever buys a Breadman machine from this company. We bought the Breadman in October 07, used it once each in November, December, and January. It simply would not work when we tried to make ...
Nice bread maker for the $$ by Moorcoffee ,Mar 02 '09
Pros: Easy to use; great results Cons: White lettering on yellow background is difficult to read
Bought this to replace an older Breadman model that we loved. Using it heavily as my son is on a gluten-free diet and I'm wheat intolerant.
I make a triple batch of pizza dough and two 2-lb. loaves of bread each week; I'm sure most families will use it less frequently.
This model is basic enough for a teen or breadmaking newbie. I used to shy away from any recipes that called for yeast; however, cinnamon roll, bagel, pizza, and pretzel dough can be made with ease.
The price was great; considering a 1-lb. loaf of tapioca bread from the health food store costs $4-6, this bread machine has paid for itself many times over.
"walks" across the counter by inhishad0w ,Jan 15 '09
Pros: Good for mixing dough. Nice window to view bread. Cons: "Walks" about 2 inches while kneading dough. Needs a light.
I really liked this inexpensive bread machine, though, I only used it to knead the dough. I didn't really like the baking it did. I liked to roll out my dough and bake it myself after it had already risen. I wish it had a light in it, but the window is so large, that it was easy enough to see the bread. The bread machine "walks" some when it is in the knead cycle. This caused mine to fall off the counter and break. I liked the machine so much though, that I'm considering getting another one. However, this time, I'll put it closer to the back wall when I leave it to do its job.
