Brebant Hotel

Pros: Frigid air-conditioning, location is fantastic,

Pros: Size of the room. Bathroom with shower. Location.
Cons: Cockroaches!! Not so clean. Few amenities. Not much atmosphere.

Just returned from Paris stay at the Hotel Brebant. biggest pro about our experience in this hotel is the location! Metro stops right outside the hotel. Walking distance to Louvre. Lots of restaurants nearby. Also, our room was on the first floor, not on the street side, so it was very quiet and ensured we could avoid the 3 person capacity elevator.

Even still, the cleanliness was not up to standard and that is very important to me, so I would never stay here again. The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned-- ever. I didn't even want to walk on it without shoes on. On our third night my husband killed a cockroach that was the size of a pen cap! We dismissed it as a random bug incident, but as we were leaving the next day we found another one crawling on our suitcase-- this one much smaller. If you stay, I advise you to shake your clothes out very well upon leaving!
