Pros: Plenty to do at the resort. Cons: The food was so-so.
We visited Breezes Runaway Bay from Sept. 20-24, 2004. It was great. When we arrived in Montego Bay my wife and I were a little nervous. The arrivals area of the airport is unkept and dingy. We made our way to the Breezes Desk and gave them our name. ...
Pros: All-inclusive, water sports, nice large beach, clean rooms Cons: Children from next door resort mixing in with the nude beach here.
This being our first trip to Jamaica, we had many questions. By looking at many sites on the Internet, we were able to get many of our questions answered but not all. For this reason, this report will be a bit long and detailed.
Pros: Lots of stuff for the beach bunnies and the active vacationer Cons: Children from FDR next door
My husband and I decided to get away from the cold in Chicago and go to Jamaica for our delayed honeymoon. We went from 12/15/02 to 12/31/02. We stayed at Breezes in Runaway Bay for most of the trip and spent the last two nights in a dive in St....

Beautiful! Newly Renovated! by mitzabitza ,Mar 21 '07
Pros: Just renovated with tremendous upgrades such as new pools, restaurants and upgraded rooms. Cons: No children under 14, while other beaches are kid-oriented, so not a family resort.
The last time I visited this particular Breezes it was about 10 years ago. Last summer when I was in JA vacationing in Runaway Bay, I took a trip over to Breezes. They were a few weeks away from closing for renovations. A few months back I split up my trip and stayed a few nights at Breezes and WOW!
Well they renovated and updated the entire hotel. From the rooms to the beach. The dining facilities are new and it was a pleasure to be there. New restaurants have opened like the Reggae Cafe and Munasan which are also at the Hedonism resorts. Nice interiors for the rooms (they were starting to look more like college dorms than a resort room)and they have added private plunge pools to rooms and updated private verandas.New pools and a swim-up bar are included as well as their beautiful golf course. Included with the price of the green fees and any lessons you may want to take. You must pay for any rental clubs and a mandatory caddy.
