Pros: An extremely powerful well constructed product For heavy-duty blending Cons: Basically none so far other than testing for leaks after reassembling the base
Summary: I am fully satisfied with the performance of this factory refurbished 750 W, six chopping blade Breville BBL600XL Ikon Diecast Blender. This blender is also our best one to date. The speed of the blades are speed controlled electronically. This ... read more

Pros: Powerful motor, easy to use, numerous settings, nice solid base and fairly compact design. Cons: Leaks...leaks, leaks!
Summary: We bought the Breville BBL600XL to replace a previous Breville. The first one was awesome with an incredibly powerful motor. We had the first one for about 4 years, using it daily. We replaced it because the motor burned out, and researched blenders for ... read more

Pros: Looks nice, blends well, stands up to ice, comes apart for cleaning Cons: Leaks, leaks, leaks.
Summary: There's not much more to say. This blender's design is defective, in that it leaks copiously. Tonight was the last straw, as it dumped half a batch of corn soup onto the counter. The gasket was installed properly and the bottom secured ... read more

Pros: Strong motor and relatively quiet. Cons: Glass container is a little heavy for one handed pouring.
Summary: After having my Osterizer blender for 25 years, I wanted something that had alot more power, especially for making smoothies. I was all set to get either a Vitamix or BlendTec but thought I'd do a little more research first.I'm glad ... read more

Pros: powerful motor, blends well, large capacity, heavy-duty build Cons: thin washer can cause leaks if not tightened PERFECTLY
Summary: I got this blender as a wedding gift and it has been used about once every two weeks. I think I'm fairly qualified to know what is a quality blender and what isn't since I was in the smoothie/shakes business for more than 5 years. It has many ... read more

Pros: Excllent design--efficient--quiet--looks good on your counter--makes a TERRIFIC smoothie. Cons: None
Summary: We purchased the Berville BBL600XL after I had done a good deal of research. The Kitchenaide it was replacing was ready for retirement, so I began by seeing what Consumer Reports had to say about blenders. They rated this particular model as ... read more

Pros: Quality durable blender, great features, works great Cons: None
Summary: I used to have a Cuisinart 2 in one blender and food processor. I didn't use it much the first 1-3 years but then decided to go on a raw vegan diet (and I'm never going back to cooked food ever, I feel so much better on raw). This obviously meant I had ... read more

Pros: Looks sleek. Thick glass container. Nicely designed plug. Shuts off automatically at end of cycle. Cons: LEAKS EASILY!!! I think pulse loosens seal if not on very tightly. Walks on counter.
Summary: Love the look and glass container. I've had a few times frozen fruit was still in chunks after using smoothie button, but I now turn it on liquify after the smoothie button and that solved problem. Have had MANY leaks with

Pros: Looks good, but aside from that I can't think of anything else that is good. Cons: Leaks, doesn't last, extremely poor quality for the money.
Summary: I purchased my first one in December. No matter what I did, it leaked. It got all over the sink, all over the blender. I returned it & got another one to give it one more try. I never tried to crush ice or chop meat,

Pros: Blends Well, quiet. Cons: Seal leaks, no jar replacements, finish peals off!
Summary: I own the Breville 600 XL Blender and I just got off the Breville USA site...1. It appears that I can't get a new glass jar to save my life! 2. Also, have you ever solved the leak issue with the seal on this

Pros: The sleek stainless steel looks was a plus. Very modern compared to old fashined blenders. Cons: Too expensive, creates air pockets. I had to turn on/off the machine to push.
Summary: Owned the machine for appx. 2 hours. It is not a $200.00. Not better than blenders priced below

Pros: Heavy, good quality, grinds very well. Cons: It leaks around the base on puree setting, probably the rubber washer is faulty.
Summary: I bought this blender a month ago, primarily for use in making spice pastes for cooking Indian cuisine. I have been using it 4 or 5 times per week. It worked perfectly until the past week when it began leaking at the base after using the puree

Pros: Strong motor. Can blend without being attended. Large pitcher capacity. Cons: Bulky, heavy, size of pitcher makes washing difficult. Faulty electronics.
Summary: I received this blender as a gift. It worked fine for a few months (used about 3x per week for smoothies) but then lost all ability to regulate speeds. The only button that works right is

Pros: Well built and very quiet Cons: None.
Summary: I got this blender for Christmas because I workout and need to make many protein smoothies. The first thing you notice is how heavy and well built this blender is. It has 2 specific/custom buttons for crushed ice and smoothies. This works great. Go
