Pros: Easy to clean, easy to use, good volume of juice Cons: Would be nice if it had high and low speed
I looked at juicers available in my local Linens & Things, taking all of them apart to see which looked sturdy, trying to see what might be hard to clean, how the different chopping blades looked (much to the staff members chagrin, I bet). I picked up ...
Pros: Sturdy, will probably last, elegant design, full-size apple/carrot chute Cons: Too fast for citrus, no cord storage, no brush storage
I was comparison shopping for a juicer, having not had one in years. I was impressed with the other Breville juicer Williams-Sonoma had carried ($299), and noticed the newer "compact" one in the stores recently for $149 undiscounted. I soon found one ...
Pros: Fast, strong, cleans easily, efficient, excellent price Cons: No real cons unless you fail to clean the microfilter thoroughly. But that's practical sense!
My wife and I have owned this little juicer now for about 6 months. We used it every day for about a month when we first bought it, and now use it on an average of about 3 times per week, so it gets a lot of use and has proven its hardiness, to date. I ...
Pros: Solid construction, safe Cons: Must batch juice, not continuous juicing; very large!
I've been juicing for 30 years, have owned every major type of juicer. Breville is so popular now with the middle-cost juicing crowd, and I like having a small juicer for travel. Therefore, I bought this model as it is listed as "Compact". ...
Pros: Fairly easy to use. GREAT taste AND filling. EASY to clean. Cons: Wish it had a slow speed for leafy stuff. Produce Blows back up loading chute!
OK, there are a million pro juicers here who can tell you all the reasons this type of juicer is best, another million who can tell you why a SLOW juicer like the Champion Brand are best if you want leafy greens juiced. My only experience until ...
Pros: Fast extraction with minimal noise. Attractive design. Cons: Pain to clean, could extract more juice from pulp.
I bought this for my wife after doing a lot of research on juicers. I discovered that the prices for these things are all over the map as are people's experiences with them. I settled on this model because of the price and the fact that it is generally ...
Pros: Easy cleaning with a dishwasher. Well built. User friendly. Cons: Only buy if you have a dishwasher, clean up can be a pain otherwise.
I must say that now that I have a dishwasher, I absolutely love my juicer. I bought it when this was not the case and clean up was a lengthy process, so i didn't use it very often. The product does a nice job of keeping fruit and vegetable ...
Love it more than my $2000 juicer! by kaham ,Mar 09 '07
Pros: cost, ease, beauty, absolutely the BEST! Cons: no cons whatsoever!
I'm so glad I shopped around and read Epinions before I jumped back in the juicer market! This juicer is only 1 day old, but I've used it twice! I've read that it's only *fault* is noise, but truely it isn't noisey at all. My $2000 juicer might slightly have drier pulp but that's all I can tell you!
Breville did a wonderful engineering job on the design and functionality of this product. As stated, the pulp is very dry, the machine is straight-forward easy to use, is quicker than any juicer I've ever seen and has so many plus-es I can't even type them fast enough! It truely will sit on my counter-top. Its a beauty. Such quick clean-up that my DH said, it didn't take you half an hour! I said, it didn't take me 5 minutes! The juice was wonderful and clear with no pulp or foam in it. What a wonderful device they invented with the cup cover which skims foam!
I can't say enough good words about this juicer. I LOVE IT!
Great Dollar Value for a great machine by captainrobert ,May 24 '09
Pros: Nice design, powerful, stainless steel filter, easy to clean. Cons: I could find no negatives at all.
After examining the Jack LaLanne machine carefully at the store, I chose the Breville BJE200 XL. Much easier to clean than the JLL, almost 3 times as powerful where the clinchers. The JLL machine requires unscrewing the blade with a tool each time you clean it and then reattaching the blade. With the Breville, it comes apart in about 15 seconds and you can either hand wash it or throw it in the dishwasher. This machine chews up whole carrots and apples with no effort at all, in fact it barely slows down. Most of the time, no pressure was required on the pusher that feeds the fruit amnd vegetables to the cutter.
It is amazing, I use it to make carrot juice "my husband's favorite" to apple juice "mine" to a mixture of greens and fruits "my son's".. we all love this machine. Very easy and safe to use.. The people who made this juicer even thought of your safety when you clean it so they have this brush that comes along with it to clean the blades with it. They also have this recipe book with all those fancy juices you get in stores, I love my machine!
