My review of the Breville Juice Fountain Plus Model #JE95XL is based on two weeks of continuous use. This is my second centrifugal ejection juicer; however I haven't juiced or owned a juicer in 6 years. My previous juicer was a L'EQUIP 221, which I ...
Pros: Great juice, easy pulp disposal, large feed tube, powerful motor. Cons: Takes up a lot of counter space.
My previous juicer was the Waring JEX-328 (reviewed h
ere).
While the Waring made great juice, and was very easy to clean, it broke after only 3 months. So, I went in search of a sturdier juicer. After reading a ton of ...
Pros: PROS
Large feeding chute, very quick juice extraction, easy clean up. Cons: CONS
Only a one year warranty, kind of big.
WHY I BOUGHT IT I've read dozens of reviews on the best brands out there. First, I read the reviews on this site (not about my exact model #, but the same brand), and also read other consumer opinion sites. Although one or two other brands I was ...
Pros: quiet (compared to most others), fast, easy clean up Cons: prep work (but this is true for most juicers other than really expensive commercial ones)
Easy to disassemble & clean. No tools required! Less than 10 minutes for total clean, dry, and re assembly. Very sturdy plastic and metal parts. Most parts are dishwasher safe. Even comes with a cleaning brush for the cutter/filter. No dangerous parts. ...
Pros: Everything! Cons: Only a 1 year warranty
May be too tall to put under some cabinets
After my 12 year old Juiceman Juicer earned its place in 'Juicer Heaven', it was time to look around again. I wanted something different, even though it worked well. I read review after review & came upon the Breville JE95XL. The aesthetics initially ...
Pros: Large feed chute, fairly dry pulp. Cons: Not really easy to clean, but that's an OK trade for the health benefits.
After recently deciding to add a lot more raw food to my diet, I spent several hours surfing online looking for a perfect juicer that could juice, homogenize, and even handle wheatgrass. I think I found one or two, but they had flaws - one had a spout ...
Pros: Solid, attractive, fast, easy, reputable manufacturer Cons: List price seems a bit high, but is competitive with other brands.
We have had our Breville for 2 weeks now. I chose this model largely due to our great experience with our Breville electric wok. The company has excellent customer service; they answer questions and act on requests promptly. We never had a juicer ...
Pros: Fast, easy to clean Cons: Juice has almost no nutrition or taste, makes colored sugared water out of fruits/vegetables.
I bought this juicer 2-3 years ago after reading about the benefits of fresh raw juice (any juice sold in stores is pasteurized and as a result looses almost all it's nutrition and only sugar remains). Unfortunately, I didn't read enough about juicers ...
Pros: Very fast in extracting juice from fruits and vegetables Cons: Has problems extracting garlic, extra pulp remains in juice, poor quality seal around juicing bowl
It is really a remarkable juicer in that it can juice several carrots or a medium sized apple at once. It makes for juicing really fast. However, the downside is it is not really durable, as I have maxed out its capabilities at juicing about 5 pounds ...
Pros: Easy to use. Cons: Expensive and carelessness can kill your motor fast.
I bought my "Breville JE95XL Two-Speed Juice Fountain Plus" for $150.00 at my local kitchen supply store. I had originally gone to the store to buy the Jack Lalanne juicer after seeing it in a late night informercial. After comparing the two, the ...
Pros: Power, speed, high output, ease of use, convenience, beautiful design, easy to dismantle and reassemble. Cons: VERY hard to clean! Has many tiny unreachable grooves. Juice container impossible to clean.
I've totally changed my mind about this juicer. My Breville JE95XL, with 850 watts and 13,000 RPM on high, has many good qualities: ease of use, power, production. It has two speeds, high for hard fruits and vegies, and low for softer things. I only use ...
Pros: Fabulous results, simple to use, easy to clean, sturdy construction, very good value. Cons: Absolutely none!!!
I bought this juicer after making a conscious decision to improve my health and therefore the quality of my life. I did intensive research on the Internet comparing juicer brands, models, sizes, pros and cons. After deciding on the Breville Juice ...
Breville Juicer JE95XL Best At Home Juicer by thepapercrowe ,Apr 05 '06
Pros: High juice volume. Pulp catcher holds a large amount. Easy cleaning. Cons: Can only juice hard veggies four minutes then have to give machine a break.
After trying a variety of "inexpensive" juicers, I decided to take the plunge and purchase the $149.99 Breville JE95XL. It by far, reigns supreme. With two speeds I have been able to juice everything from bananas and strawberries to oranges, and yes, even the orange rind which I then compost. It is extremely affordable considering how much I am saving on time, and the benefits to my family. With the juice catcher, I have fresh juices from countertop to tabletop in minutes.
thought it was better than it is (updated) by tohelpothers ,Apr 21 '05
Pros: juices fast efficiently, the froth eliminator is a nice feature too. Cons: doesn't juice garlic, ginger or spinach well
we just got this juicer in the mail the other day and i've used it twice now. wow what a dream!!! i've only had prior experience with a used commercial champion juicer that retails for $260 and this breville blew it away! and at almost half the price. i have no idea what the longevity of this product is but i hope that runs and performs like this forever.
here's what i don't like there's a couple things i don't like about it. first of all if you're juicing a dime size piece of garlic or ginger, chances are it will never get juiced, instead it'll be thrown into the pulp container. i think i may have remedied that problem though by sticking the garlic or ginger inside another vegetable or fruit. the other problem is that i put 2 handfulls of spinach to juice and it hardly renders any juice, all it does is chop it up and spit it in the pulp container. so that's a big problem. on the positive side it leaves most pulp dryer than the champion. if you have patience though, it's probably best to buy a champion.

Pros: BUY IT, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. Cons: I wish ALL my appliances were so good!
Love it, love it! The Breville Juice Fountain is THE easiest to clean, easiest to use kitchen appliance I've ever owned (in 35 years). Whole (medium) apples fit easily into substantial hopper, all pieces (and there are few) simply RINSE OFF in warm water. It's so fast, I can't believe it! Pulp is extremely dry, and perfect for the compost bin. Recipe booklet gives some wonderful suggestions I had never considered before.
The juice is marvelous, and you can easily omit the pulp separator if you want to drink the pulp, too.
The Juicer itself is so good looking and sleek, I almost want to keep it on the counter all the time.
