Pros: Good concept. Cons: Hard to control temperature and have not yet gotten the process right after 3 attempts.
Summary: My grilling experience started with a Happy Cooker. It was a charcoal grill very much like a Weber, and was sold by Montgomery Wards. It had a higher dome lid then the Weber which made it perfect for Turkeys. I used to turn about perfect golden brown ... read more

Pros: Does a great job. Will cook for hours. Cons: The coals 'ash up' and put themselves out in a fairly short span of time.
Summary: As an experiment, I use the second grill to put the coals on. This took care of the problem with the coals and significantly stabilized the cooking temperature.
I ultimately made a grate for the bottom with expanded metal and some one inch ... read more

Pros: Simple to assemble, ( if you are even slightly mechanically inclined ) Cons: Not available In Walmart or Home Depot.
Summary: This is a remake of the original "Cook N Cajun" with different handles and the temp gauge relocated. They had to change the way it was made in the 80's because people were catching their wooden decks on fire with it! I bought my first "Cook N Cajun" In ... read more

Pros: all of the parts were present Cons: most of the parts required manual modification in order to join correctly
Summary: I just received this smoker as a gift and assembled it last night. Most of it is made in China (at least the parts that were labeled), and it shows. I don't know whom to blame: the lack of quality control on the part of the Chinese, or the cheap design
