Pros: Easy to use, comfortable, weight range, made in USA Cons: Cost
We recently had a serious accident and had to replace our Evenflo Triumph 5 convertible carseat. Babies R' Us did not carry the Triumph any longer, so we chose the other highly rated seat with side impact protection, the Britax Boulevard, since we ...
Pros: One of the safest around, side-impact protection, easy adjustments, a wide weight range. Cons: The cost, but can we really put a price on our children's safety?
What a fantastic convertible car seat! If you are looking for a safe, easy to use, comfortable car seat for your little one, this is it! We bought this for our son when he outgrew his infant carrier. We used it rear-facing for about 6 months, prior to ...
Pros: Love how you do not have to take the straps apart to adjust height. Cons: well it is heavy to carry, but that really is not a major complaint.
So after our 22 pound 5m old was height and weight ready to move out of his britax companion, we looked for the next best carseat Britax offers. Britax had two models that topped our list. The boulevard and the decathalon. Both are about the same price, ...
Pros: Velcro strap holders, HUGS system, Side Impact Protection head rest Cons: Very large, expensive
Wow! That sums it up for this seat. This is by far the easiest seat to use hands down. I purchased this after spending 4 months coping with the twisted straps on my Evenflo Triumph DLX. I didn't want to spend the extra money on this one even though ...
Pros: Keeps that kid safe. Cons: HUGE and on the pricey side.
At 4 months my child outgrew his "basket" carseat. You know the type, Graco-made, easy to nap in while mom moved him from the house to the car to the grocery store and back. Faced with a looming giant, we headed off to the baby supercenter on a quest ...
Pros: Side-impact protection, potential to last from birth-5, comfortable, adjustable, very easy to use! Cons: may not fit rear-facing in some cars, fewer fabric choices than the britax marathon
I recently bought two Britax Boulevard car seats for my two-and-a-half-year-old twins. They were about to outgrow their Britax Roundabout car seats, and we were buying a second (new) car, and wanted to have car seats with LATCH (our Roundabouts were ...
Pros: Wonderful ease-of-use & comfort options combined with high weight/height limits make this one exceptional seat! Cons: It's heavy, but I managed as a 100# single mom to lug it through airports!
Let's start with a bit of background info.... I'm a bio-mom, step-mom, foster-mom & day-care provider. I've been through DOZENS of carseats (also excited to say that I'm getting my Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification in 2 months! *wink*) ...
Pros: *Headrest is easy to adjust
*The seat is as secure as it gets.
Cons: *Crotch belt doesn't adjust
*Head rests get in the way
*The Regal isn't plush.
I purchased the Britax Boulevard last week for my 4 month old son who outgrew his Graco Snugride. (He's 18 pounds and with all his winter gear, I could barely buckle him in!) I planned on buying the Britax Decathlon or Marathon at Babies R Us, but once ...
Pros: Absolute best in safety, easy to use, looks great, and its comfortable. Cons: Expensive, but protecting your children is worth it.
I needed a new seat for my 3 year old and after looking at many different seats, decided this was the best convertible car seat I have ever seen. Britax is always a manufacturer you can trust for safety. It has more safety features than any other convertible, yet it looks nice, is easy to use, and is comfortable. Since it lasts from 5 to 65 pounds, you'll use it for years! I haven't had to use it rear facing, so I can't say how well that installation works. I've used several other convertible seats, but won't use any other from now on.
Pros: One of the safest carseats available today. Sleeping baby's head doesn't slump forward. Cons: Expensive, but well worth the investment!
Total Slip Inside Protection makes it one of the safest car seats available today. Great retro and soft faux suede fabric design. Very comfortable for my 10 month old and the height of the seat means our baby can enjoy the view outside(We have a Honda Oddysey). When he falls asleep, his head NEVER slumps forward--which is a common problem with many carseats today.
Pros: Comfortable, well made and easy to clean. Cons: Color not the best. Looks like its from the 70's
My two year old son loves this seat, very comfortable. We travel alot so we needed a good quality seat with excellent crash safety features. The color (light blue plaid) is not what we wanted but we got a great deal on-line for $240.00 and free shipping.
You should buy this car seat by kingkhalas ,Oct 31 '05
Pros: Comfort, easy to install, looks good, side head protection. Cons: Few color options, won't fit in small cars.
I did a lot of comparison shopping to buy a new car seat for my son who is about 19months.
We had a Britax marathon in my other car and have been very happy with it.
I bought the Boulevard after reading about it and comparing with other car seat options.
This seat is the only one I know of with side impact protection. That feature alone is worth buying this seat. No other seat offers this.
Britax is well made, and the latch anchors work well.
installing with a seat belt is also easy to do.
The Boulevard also has a new system where a dial controls the height of the shoulder straps which is a big improvement. The marathon and other seats require you to take the cover off to adjust the straps but not this seat.
The instructions stay attached to the seat so you won't lose them.
The color selection is very limited at this time for the Boulevard.

Pros: Easy to adjust. Safe all around the child. A great investment in my child's future. Cons: Heavy and costly. But WELL worth the cost.
I was in a head-on collision a week before my son was born so safety is a very high priority for me. I planned on buying a Britax Roundabout but after seeing all four styles in the store, the Boulevard seemed the right choice. It has side impact protection and unbelievably easy adjustability. It's heavy and expensive but that weight makes me feel more comfortable and $300 is well worth the safety surrounding my child. I took my vehicle and car seat to the State Police to ensure proper installation. The trooper used the tether to attach it to our center console (Ford F-250) since our back seat has a high degree of slant. He said Britax is the only car seat that can tether rear facing. As for color, I could care less what color it is (as long as it's not pink). As long as it's safe.
Pros: ease of use, comfy, very safe Cons: none, unless you count price, but isn't your baby worth it
I love this seat. It has the True Side Impact Protection, Is very comfy, my daughter loves it. We bought this chair for her before she was born and it has been the only one we have used. It works well for newborns, although we did have to buy one of those head support inserts. At first I had a Ford Focus and it fit just fine in that car, and now have a mini van and have had no problems there. I love how easy it is to install. I clean out my car every week and it really takes me about 3 minutes to get it out and reinstall it. It is very secure. I would never buy any other seat
Excellent - the only car seat I trust for my children by sylmarino ,Dec 06 '06
Pros: Sturdy Cons: A little expensive, but worth it.
I trust Britax as a brand as they adhere to European safety standards which are much more stringent that US standards. The car seat is durable, easy to clean, easy to install and keeps the kids safe!
