Pros: Side impact protection, ease of use Cons: Fabric choices. Hard to reach seatbelt
Britax Parkway Booster Seat. As a child of the 70s, I sat anywhere I wanted in the car-- front, back, even inside the "trunk" of my mother's hatchback-- without ever fastening a seatbelt. Times have changed. I can't quite keep up with evolving ...
Pros: safe unit, test well in side crash tests, adjustable head support Cons: bulky, uncomfortable for some children, restrictive arm motion
I do not personally have children of my own, but when my friend and his wife decided to go on a romantic cruise about 3 months ago to Europe, they wished to leave their lovable youngster behind under my care for 2 weeks along with this adequate, safe, ...
Pros: EPS Foam; well padded; high safety rating. Cons: Bulky; difficult to use while traveling; wings will make child feel squished.
BRITAX Parkway Booster The BRITAX Parkway Booster is not bad. My 3-year-old has been using this for about 4 weeks now and he doesnt like sitting in it if he has choice between it and his older brothers carpool car seat (Graco ...
Pros: Easy installation, up to 100 pounds, very padded and plush Cons: cup holders are to shallow
After much research and debate we settled on the Parkway for our 3 1/2 year old daughter she loves it! There is no assembly required and simple to install, just drop it in the seat and buckle up. I love that the buckle stays put in the loop buckle ...
Pros: Higher height maximum.
"wings" keep sons head up while sleeping
easy to use
Cons: cup holders...really not these things
We love this booster.
My son is 3 yr old and very tall this was one of the few that fit up to 60 inches in height. The others stopped at 56 or 57 inches.
It moves easily between cars. The cup holders are completely use less. Maybe they hold some small bits of food but not a cup. they could have left them out.
Price is fine for the comfort (well padded compared to many on the market and side impact safety.
The "wings" by the head do not bother our son as a matter of fact they keep him from flopping when he falls a sleep.
Pros: Easily installed and movable! Cons: The cup holders leave a lot to be desired.
My son was ready to go to a "big boy" seat at 3 1/2 and so as I had purchased the Britax Roundabout, I was going to go with Britax once again for his booster. He absolutely LOVES this seat! He feels like a big boy as this the perfect booster for the shoulder-type seatbelt. Another thing that I love about this seat are the side impact shields. Not only will they protect his head, heaven forbid we should have a crash, but they also provide him a place to lay his head when he falls asleep. I highly recommend this booster! It may be pricey, but worth the money!
Pros: Comfort and safety Cons: Very tall, making it difficult to see out the side back window of my SUV.
My 8 yr old has been using this booster for over 3 yrs now and has been happy with it. Since she is only 54 inches (not the recommended 57 inches to ride without a booster), she still has at least another year or so, and there is still growing room. Her only complaint is that she's tired of the "wingy" things beside her head, and my complaint is that now that she's getting tall, the carseat is too and it blocks my view out the side-back window of my SUV. Otherwise, it is comfortable for long trips (she's never gotten "numb-bum"). Also, the fabric has held up really well, still looks brand new! Easy to remove and clean if needed. Cup holders don't serve much purpose, they are very shallow.
Pros: This is a well cushioned booster that installed easily. Cons: This booster seat is too narrow for any child to sit in comfortably.
I bought this product after doing a lot of research and had known from friends that Britax was a name to trust. I also did my own research and learned that the side impact resistance and side head rests were ideal for when a child falls asleep (their head stays pretty much upright).
We received it in the mail and liked how it looked as well as how it felt (soft and well cushioned).
The biggest problem came when I had to put my daughter in it the next morning. She is tall and slim and couldn't put her head back comfortably - the shoulder, neck, and head area were too narrow.
I took her and the booster over to AAA to be checked out - thinking maybe I installed it incorrectly somehow. They were aghast at how a Britax booster could be so poorly made. They told me that if my daughter couldn't fit into it - they didn't know how any other child would fit into it. They said it was poorly made and too narrow from the chest area on up.

Pros: Bubble print is stylish Cons: EPS FOAM MAY BREAK resulting in No head protection!!!
I purchased this seat about 9 months ago and was initially satisfied but Yesterday the EPS Foam head guard broke in half!!!!! Very disappointing, I will call Britax on Tuesday and report back with a Customer service review.
Pros: Easy to move around, cushy, safe Cons: cup holders could be better...
I don't have this pattern, but I have this model. I thought that the sides of the head rest would be an issue, but they were not. As a matter of fact, now my son can fall asleep without his head dangling around.
