Pros: Strong safety record; comfortable with soft fabric and nice padding; easy strap adjustment. Cons: On the more expensive side of carseats
When I did research into carseats, everything I read and everyone I talked to seemed to suggest that if cost was not an impediment for you, there was really only one decision point with respect to what convertible car seat one should buy: should you get ...
Pros: Comfortable, easy to use, fits in car easily Cons: Straps twist and contort, expensive, tough LATCH install
It was time to upgrade to a rear-facing convertible car seat when my daughter rapidly flew past the 26" height limit on her infant carrier at a mere 4 months of age. I didn't have a whole lot of time to research car seats as I didn't want to waste time ...
Pros: Safe; Highly Rated; Easy to Use Cons: None Really
There are many decent car seats available on the market. Britax manufactures many of them. This is one of Britax's less expensive models, but, by far, the best. It's Consumer Reports (www.consumerreports.org) highest rated convertible car seat with a ...
Pros: Safe, cushy ride for junior and stylishly sized for parents Cons: None
Like many other parents and reviewers, I did a lot of research before buying this car seat. I'd decided on this doing my own detective work, and also my pediatrician recommended this one, unsolicited, on my last appointment prior to the seat when he ...
Pros: Very safe, comfortable, easy to adjust Cons: Little tricky to install the first time, price
When I was pregnant with my daughter, now three years old, I spent countless hours online, reading online reviews and assessments relating to every major expense my husband and I were going to incur as a result of becoming parents. I found the search ...
Pros: Sturdy construction. Ease of use. Feels so secure. Cons: Center rear installation in our car was floppy. Had to go with side installation.

Pros: Safe and affordable Cons: Harness height adjustment is not customized to your child
Our son recently outgrew his infant seat so we were in the market for a convertible car seat. For our Honda Civic, we purchased the Britax Roundabout. The decision was made primarily on the reputation of Britax as a safe car seat and this was their ...
Pros: great for compact car, convenient Cons: expensive
Our first car seat was great, but my daughter outgrew it at around 7 months. We had trouble finding any seat that would fit my car (ford contour) This was basically the only one that would fit in between the seatbelts in the back seat. That being ...
Pros: Sturdy, secure and comfortable. Cons: I really don't have any cons.
I wish we had gotten this car seat to begin with. We started with one of the car seats that popped out and transfered to the stroller, or used to carry the baby. But the car seat was much to heavy for this and we ended up giving it ...
Latch system not compatible with newer cars by sschray ,Feb 08 '08
Pros: Comfortable and easy to use. Cons: Latch system is not compatible with all newer vehicles requiring the car seatbelt.
My wife spent considerable amount of time researching the best car seat for our daughter and she chose the roundabout by Britax. I agreed with her findings and found the seat easy to use and our daughter appeared comfortable when we tried it out at Babys'R'Us. However, I was extremely disappointed to find that the latch system was not compatible with our 2007 Honda CRV. Automobile manufactures have been installing latch attachment points for a few years now, I assume, because it is a preferable and safer way to secure a carseat. Considering the cost of the Britax seat, I would have expected the manufacturer to ensure compatibility with vehicles, especially the Honda CRV which was designed with young children in mind and is very popular with mothers. Britax was unable to provide a latch other than their standard so we are left with using the seatbelt which is harder to install and which I believe does not secure the seat as when as a proper latch system. I assume Britax has this problem for their entire car seat product line.
Couldn't have picked a better one! by mrsmommy ,Mar 10 '09
Pros: Sits higher to see out window, easy to adjust straps for bulky jacket days Cons: Can't think of any!
I did tons of research and chose this carseat for my son and I LOVE IT! The price didn't stop me from buying, I just had to save a little! My son loves the fact that he can look out the window because it sits higher. I've had no problems with the latch, harness, or anything else. Washing the covering was also problem-free! I'm getting another one for my daughter in a few months!
