Pros: No Pros
Cons: Crashes continually, very unstable.

I have 25 yrs of programming experience and this is the worst software I have ever seen. It crashes repeatedly, even on a state of the art system. Do not buy, or download or install. It is a giant waste of time.

Pros: I can't think of any for the price I paid and what the product does.
Cons: Difficult to use especially for a novice user. Help screens are terrible.

I found this product very difficult to use, hard for me navigate and get the results I want. I am not an CAD expert, but I'm not stupid either.

Pros: Easiest to use, quite simple
Cons: could use more in the catalog. Better textures.

The software works. Although it does crash once in a while on my WinXP Pro, it is one of the best out there. Moving around is not as intuitive as other software. It could use an eight way navigation pane instead a one mouse moving around.

There are quite a bit of objects missing from the catalog. For example there is no kitchen Islands and you are forced to buy the external to the house software if you want to add an outside railing patio on the second floor.

The rendering could also be better.

I just started using 3D Architect Deluxe 6 and found it relatively easy to start up and work with. Just about everyone has a "dream house" vision and this program can make the dream come true, at least on your computer, even if you are not a professional home designer/architect. There are plenty of "video" tutorials that help explain the various options the program offers. There are some cool features such as an option to turn on or off light fixtures in each room and a daytime or nighttime outdoor view. On the other hand, it is not perfect. I was disappointed that wall bedroom closets are not included in the otherwise very well-stocked library of furniture and appliances that can be placed into each design. I also would have liked to have an option to build a second-story open balcony/sun deck.
I have not yet "played" around with many of the other features yet, but will do so after finishing writing this.
