Brooks Adrenaline GTS, These Shoes Were Made For Walking Or Running !

by ifif1938 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Mar 28 '04
Pros: Comfort, stability
Cons: They do not come in black
I guess before I write my review I should give a short history of why I need these special shoes in the first place and also mention the fact that for about 15 years prior to that, exercise had been a very important part of my life, something I did ...

The Adrenaline GTS is a Bummer! (Save the Planet W/O)

by chelledun Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Sep 21 '05
Pros: Attractive, reasonably priced, walking is good for the environment!
Cons: Didn't hold up well, cushion broke down, uncomfortable after a short time.
My pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS is the sixth pair of Brooks shoes I have purchased. I bought them this summer before my trip to London since I knew I would be walking or taking public transport. After the nearest tube stop to my dorm was ...

Brooks Adrenaline GTS: Comfy, Stable, and Good-Looking Too

by meanbeast , Nov 23 '00
Pros: Very stable, cushioned, looks good
Cons: Mesh material lets in water
It's that time of year. Time to put away the tennis racket and skirt and break out the running shoes and spandex. That's right. It's indoor track season. And as with any new season, it's time to buy a new pair of shoes, which isn't exactly an easy...

Finally! The most comfortable shoes for my flat feet

by sonokokanai , Jan 15 '05
Pros: wide front, removable insole, good support for motion control or flat feet
Cons: can be expensive to buy at a retail store
I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline GTS for women for a half a year now, and it's been a great relief to my feet. It's one of the best "motion-control" sneakers which means the sneaker is ergonomically made to correct for each muscle and parts of the ...

Knee Pain...Be Gone!

by David , Feb 24 '00
Pros: Competitively priced, Great support, Good looks
Cons: None yet
I had been suffering for a number of months from ITB (see my review of the Life Fitness 5500 Recumbent stationary bike). The majority of my runs were being cut short due to ITB knee pain and even diligent stretching was not preventing the pain. As I...

Roomy Stability

by Dinofun , May 05 '00
Pros: Smooth, supportive ride.
Cons: Stiff upper.
The Brooks Adrenaline GTS falls within a very distinct category and that is Stability. Currently the leader of that category is the Asiscs 2050 with Nike’s Structure Triax, New Balance’s 853 & 762 and Reebok’s Ventilator all fighting for a piece of...

Brooks GTS 6

by Hapgood , Jan 27 '07
Pros: Comfy! No more joint pain, good looking.
Cons: Not inexpensive (though fairly priced against similar shoes).
I started running in February of 2006. My first shoes were a pair of Nike Airs I purchase for $18 during the Robinsons-May closeout. After suffering some running pains, my running buddy and I made a trip out to Encino, CA to a wonderful running store ...

Great all around!

by chazzerguy , Sep 05 '00
Pros: Great fit, great comfort
Cons: A touch heavy
I loved these shoes from the first moment I put them on! My 9.5D foot was enveloped by these shoes, and I was struck by the solid support yet remarkable cushion, especially in the forefoot. I have logged about 150 miles on mine so far, and the wear...

Performance Stability

by Iruncuzican , Jan 18 '00
Pros: Brooks complete package @ a competitive price
Cons: High ankle collar
The name says a lot about this shoe, due to it's combination of moderate stability, cushioning and lightweight upper. Ringing in at $85 dollars the Adrenaline will compete with shoes like the Asics 2050 and the Nike Structure Triax. Benefits you ask?...

Looks good, feels great

by derreque , Apr 14 '02
Pros: Support/Stability/Comfort
Cons: None
I bought my pair last week at a specialist running store. I had researched all the latest/greatest on the internet and the Brooks were at the top of my shortlist. The guy in the store (professional runner) asked to see me barefooted, walk around, asked...

Brooks Adrenaline
by lqwells ,Mar 27 '07
Pros: Stylish design, sturdy, and wear well.
Cons: Price.
These shoes are fantastic and worth the money. They wear well and provide comfort. If you are a runner requiring a bit of stability and you slightly pronate, these are the shoes for you. Worth every penny.

Fabulous for endurance training!
by achambers75 ,Aug 26 '05
Pros: very comfortable, breathable, toe room
Cons: price would be the only thing, but they're worth it
I have been an avid walker for a couple of years and I have tried several different shoes. I am currently training for the Breast Cancer 3-Day, during which I will be walking 60 miles in 3 days. I visited one of the sponsor stores and tried on about 6 pairs of shoes. I loved the way these felt right away! They took a little longer to break in than most other shoes I've had, but after a couple of weeks, they were wonderful! They're very comfortable, and they have more mesh than any other shoes I've owned, so my feet can get some air! And they have room for my toes to move! (I know, I'm weird). I will be buying more of these shoes before Brooks decides to discontinue this style! (Because they can't just let a good thing be. I'm sure they'll stop making them within a year or two.)
