Pros: Lightweight, sturdy, safe, roomy. Good value although pricey.
    Cons: none

Pros: easy to use/ reliable attachment mechanism, great storage, weather proof, durable
Cons: Shoulder belts attach too low at back of seats, causes some discomfort for taller kids

Summary: We are a family of 6 and we go everywhere with our bikes, infants in tow. We have owned numerous trailers but for the last 2 years we have been thrashing our Burley D'lite. I have to tell you this is the best trailer we have owned by far. I am a huge ... read more

  • Excellent purchase!!!

    Jul 26 '04
Pros: smooth, lightweight, easy to fold and transport, easy to clean
    Cons: NONE!!!

Summary: This has got to be one of the best purchases I've made in a long time, especially, for kids gear. I needed a way to get a work out while taking care of my 8 month and 23 month old children, so I decided to buy a bike trailer that converts to a jogging ... read more

Pros: easy to hitch, easy to fold, lots of cargo space, so much fun!
Cons: top seam is not water proof

Summary: I bought this trailer in May of 2002. I thought I would take my boys to the park twice a week. I was wrong! I use it almost on a daily basis in good weather. I lost 10 pounds in the first three months of owning it without changing my diet. It is very ... read more

  • Your kids will love it

    Sep 11 '02
Pros: compact and lightweight, very easy to setup, smoothe ride
    Cons: Expensive

Summary: We have two little boys and they love to go. So we were looking for a carrier that would allow us to take them places like parks and pools. We heard from a lot of people about the quality of the Burley and when we searched around it was obvious why. ... read more

    Pros: Kids love it!!
Cons: Broken part, but good customer service

Summary: My kids love riding in their trailer. The ride is smooth and sometimes they even nod off on a long ride. We had a part break off of it, but the customer service was wonderful. They had the part to me in like 3 days, and they responded to my ... read more

  • keep it dry all the time

    May 15 '02
Pros: nice colors and kids like it
Cons: expensive, VERY POOR WARRANTY, poor fabric quality

Summary: The (blue\Yellow) Nylon fabric did not last long due to being weathered from natural elements. It got mildewed and began to deteriorate almost immediately. The fabric stains very easliy, and these [water] stains are nearly impossible to remove. When I ... read more

  • Expensive trailer, but what a trailer!

    Jan 02 '02
Pros: 1. SAFE 2. Wind proof, 3. So smooth, it glides
Cons: 1. Wheels are not shock proof 2. price

Summary: Okay, to keep the story short, we were in the market for a bike trailer for our little one since we just took up the hobby of mountain biking in Colorado. All summer last year, we tried to look for a used one, no luck, so we finally gave in and bought a ... read more

  • Excellent as a stroller as well as a bike trailer

    Aug 07 '01
Pros: Comfortable fit for two, easy steering, smooth ride, roomy storage, safety features, sturdy, versatile
Cons: Expensive, wide, bulky, stroller attachment not good for indoor use

Summary: I use the Burley D'Lite primarily with the stroller attachment to run and walk with my two children, ages 2 and 4. My husband uses it primarily as a bicycle trailer. We both love its versatility and find it an excellent investment despite its expensive ... read more

  • Got Bike? Gotta Have It!

    Sep 25 '00
Pros: Excellent product. Holds up well year after year.
Cons: Don't make one for three kids.

Summary: O.K. I guess that I should start off saying that this is the only bike/walking trailer I have ever owned. If I buy another one, it will be a Burley. When it became harder for me to exercise with my wee little ones, we decided to get a trailer ... read more

    Jun 29 '00
Pros: made like they used to make things back in the day
    Cons: NONE

Summary: Very seldom are there products that seem to defy the modern trend towards cheap disposable product. These items are designed around a more old fashioned paradigm, durability and function. The Burley d'Lite is one of those products. One of, if not the ... read more

Pros: safe, durable, smooth ride, roomy
Cons: older versions do not fold, expensive if buying new

Summary: I recently bought a slightly older version of this bike trailer and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The five-point harness provides safety that some other trailers simply do not offer. And it is roomy enough for two small children to ride ... read more

Pros: Very handy, safe and versatile, lightweight for it's size.
Cons: Fabric wears, ages and is expensive to replace

Summary: I bought this trailer over 5 years ago and have loved having it. I recommend you also consider the third wheel and handle which makes it into a stroller. You can get these later if you wish. I have had 3 kids grow up using it and thought I'd be

Pros: Light, extremely smooth ride, very roomy for the riders.
Cons: Just the initial sticker shock!

Summary: All I have to say is thank god I didn't buy a cheap one. This trailer is wonderful. I have boys who are going to be big and tall. This trailer will work far beyond almost any other model I looked at. It's roomy, well ventilated, easy to control,
