Pros: It helps prevent cystic acne from fully forming. It smells like chicken. Cons: Very expensive. Detritius eventually accumulates in the bottle, leading to ineffectivness. Sometimes the tip leaks.
I've used three Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Sticks so far, because it does help control the cystic acne I'm prone to... at first.Unfortunately, there are several drawbacks which are bad enough to make me seek another product. The most ...

Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick
by sugabames ,Oct 27 '03
Pros: 1. Works quickly-fastly absorbed
2. Refreshing tingle
3. Small/portable(for travel/emergency treatment of blemishes) Cons: The fragrance my not appeal to everyone. It is a natural smell, similar licorice.
I am a a huge fan of the Burt's Bees products and the herbal blemish stick is yet another effective step of my skincare plan. I have tried every kind of acne spot treatment available and this is not only, in my opinion, the most effective, but also the most gentle. I absolutely love it!

Best thing EVER!!!!
by mightygirl ,Jul 09 '07
Pros: everything Cons: nothing
Trust me, I tries everything - literally. Including dermabrasion and laser treatments. Antibiotics and Retin A. Nothing, NOTHING clears existing and forming blemishes faster than this miracle stick. If you want it to be MOST effective, try to catch your pimple in the beginning stage and apply several times a day.

by VetteGurl77 ,Jun 02 '05
Pros: none Cons: everything about it
i bought this thinking i would try it to clear up my skin and it made it worse. It dried it up it was messy and it stunk to high heaven. i guess maynee it was just my skin but the rollerball aplicater doesnt work too well. It smelled like i have no clue what to tell you but it was bad. i ulimatly i had to stop using to get my skin clear up and used the pore mask and tomatoe soap. this stuff is just the only product of theres that i dont like. i love everything else and will say it to high heaven but not this.

Working well so far...
by chocoholicgirl ,Apr 06 '09
Pros: Easy to use, fairly inexpensive, natural Cons: Somewhat difficult to apply as a spot treatment
I don't break out too often, but when I do, oh boy do I ever break out. Usually it's just a few large, painful, cyst-like zits that seem to take FOREVER to clear up. Having already tried my standard treatment of a sulfur and clay based spot treatment and antibiotic cream, my zit was still there and as big as ever. I bought the blemish stick and put it on as soon as I got home. It IS a liquid and the rollerball makes spot application a little difficult, but dabbing works pretty well. The smell is slightly lemony, a little woodsy. I don't mind it at all. It stings very little and is shrinking my zit.
