I have Italian greyhounds which have very short hair and can be quite sensitive to chemicals. Mosquitoes were such pests that we weren't able to play outside in the evening. This product works well and is safe for pets. It makes their fur extremely shiny (although the dogs are not fond of the smell). It is effective at repelling mosquitoes. We use it frequently and have recommended it to others.
