Pros: Moisturizing, smooth, healing, non-irritating, smells great Cons: Can leave face a little shiny, and uhh, I want to eat this stuff
After trying a few Burts Bees products, I decided that I liked them enough to try some more. With nearly all natural ingredients, I definitely have a preference for this brand over other mainstream products. After working indoors for a ...
Pros: 99% natural. For me that wasn't really a pro though Cons: Sticky, caused me to break out, weird scent, didn't absorb well
I admit I'm not the biggest Burt Bees fan and I haven't found much to change that fact yet. I recently bought several Burt's Bees products, some in samples sizes within kits, and am going through each one. Once again, I am unimpressed with Burt's ...
I have awesome friends. We share things. For example, I had a practically full container of A

I read reviews of Burt's Bees Marshmallow Vanishing Creme here on Epinions, and it seemed like everyone was raving about it. Since I've already found the perfect soap and the perfect eye cream, I just needed a great moisturizer to complete my ...
Pros: Luxurious creme, wonderful scent, light-weight formula Cons: None!
Intro
Burt's Bees is a wonderful brand of natural products. Their line includes products that can be used from head to toe for man, woman, child and baby. Personal hygiene products such as lotions, soaps, cosmetics, hair care and first-aid....
Pros: Goes on smooth, absorbs easily, natural ingredients. Cons: Wish it had sunscreen, kinda pricey.
I have very sensitive fair skin. Burt's Marshmallow Vanishing Creme is the very first product that has moisturized my skin without causing clogged pores or itching. And I'm no spring chicken, so I've been looking for two decades. In the past, I ...
Pros: Absorbs quickly into skin, cool creamy consitancy. Cons: shiny skin, still need sunblock, smells like funky banana pudding after you own it awhile.
I have updated this review to reflect my changes in opinion after owning the product for over 6 months. Burts Bees makes this 99.9% natural cream. It's made by Burt's Bees, and comes in a purple box. Inside the box is a glass jar, with an aluminum ...
Pros: Organic
Smells SO good
WORKS! Cons: If you use too much, it won't feel nice
Kinda pricey
This product, like most, is hit and miss. I personally love it. I have extremely sensitive skin with a few VERY dry patches that pop up every now and again. I originally bought this product because I had extremely dry skin right under my eyes. The ...
I'd like to say up front that I love most Burt's Bees products, but this one wasn't very good. I bought a full-sized jar of this from the Burt's Bees website at a discounted rate and barely used any of it. Burt's Bees Marshmallow Vanishing Creme is ...
Pros: Wonderful scent, feels like I'm spoiling myself! Cons: Greasy and waxy
I bought a jar of this a while back while on my search for the perfect facial moisturizer. While this one comes close, it didn't quite make the cut for me...
This cream has a wonderful scent that makes me want to just eat it straight out of the jar (of course, I used to eat paste when I was little, too @@) I use it at night and in the morning my face feels nice and smooth.
However, it is very waxy and can leave a greasy residue on my face. I break out fairly regularly and I'm afraid to use this cream on a regular basis because I'm not sure if it will make my acne worse or not.
Maybe this cream would be perfect for someone with overly dry skin but it is definitely not for people with an oily complexion.
I would recommend this for a rare treat, only. Sorry Burt!
Not so good for everyday use by estrellabella ,Dec 13 '05
Pros: Love the smell and the ingredients Cons: A little pricey, greasy
I have very sensitive skin that becomes somewhat dry in the fall and winter months. I have used Burt's Bees products in the past, and was satisfied with them. So, when I saw the Marshmallow Vanishing Creme I figured it would work great. I was wrong. After only 3-4 days my pores were clogged. I think this product may work for some people but it didn't work for me!!
Pros: It does moisturize your skin. Cons: It feels heavy on your skin.
This product truly smells like the marshmallow circus peanuts of my childhood. The smell doesn't last so it's OK. I bought this as part of a sample pack and I'm not sure I'd spend the $13.00 it sells for at full size. I've been trying Burt's Bees products because I like to use products from companies that don't test on animals.
I've been using it for a week and my skin is definitely moisturized but it feels heavy on my skin. Throughout the day, I definitely notice that I have moisturizer on though I feel shinier than I look with while wearing it.
This product is just "eh" for me. It's OK for winter when my skin is drier but I will not be able to wear it during the summer. I would recommend it to people looking for a winter moisturizer who don't mind a heavier cream.
Pros: Does make your skin soft. Company has a good rep for natural stuff & recycling. Cons: Greasy circus peanuts!! Enough said.
Seriously, when I opened the jar, the smell reminded me of something I couldn't quite place..then it came to me, circus peanuts! Not peanuts-peanuts, the candy peanuts. Those little packages of orangey squishy candies shaped like big peanuts that they sell in drugstores!
This cream does the trick, and yes, it does vanish (eventually, with a lot of rubbing, and if it's use sparingly), but the smell made my husband run away screaming about circus peanuts. It was very greasy, and I found that if I didn't thin it out on my face with a little water, I'd get a streak on my pillowcase after sleeping with my face mushed against the pillow.
I love the Burt's Bees line, but once I used up the pot, I didn't make a repeat purchase. I ended up not using this on my face, but as a foot cream, used at night, before putting on socks. I figured at least my feet would be pretty far away from my husband's nose!!
Feels nice on, vanishes as promised. Contains sugar to make you smell like a Smore. Really strong marshmallow smell is a turn-off. Sugar=food for bacteria to grow. I like Burt's Bees Beeswax Moisture Creme (the new light formula) much better.
An okay moisturizer but odd consistency and so so effects. by holidayhoo ,Dec 14 '04
Pros: Nice scent (although somewhat cloying, sweet) Good ingredients. Cons: Very strange texture.... sticky hard to spread (on skin) so so effects.
This creme smells nice..... and has nice effects but is somewhat codmogenic..... and it is hard to spread..... it gets gloppy and soaks in fast if you don't spread it fast..... hard to explain.... does have a slippery texture...... perhaps (with the marsmallow) well suited to irritate inflamed red etc. skin.
