Okay I admit! I never tone my skin because I've had so many bad experiences w/ toners. All the ones that I have tried have left me with dry, itchy, skin... how can I be cleaning my skin when the next morning I have little pimples and red inflammed...

I bought this Toner after reading a review of it on the Burt's Bees website. I fell in love after using it just a few days. It has a wonderful and refreshing smell and has left my skin glowing with no break outs in almost a month! For a Toner it was a tiny bit expensive - at least for what I've spent on Toners in the past - but it could not be more worth the money. This Toner has worked wonders on my skin - it is natural and I will continue to use it for many years to come - thank you Burt's Bees!!

I generally like all natural products, and the reviews for this were pretty good. So went out and got it at a local drug store. It was OK. It didn't dry out my skin or cause any problems. The smell took some getting use to, kinda like alcohol and lettuce. The scent dose fade pretty fast so it's not really a problem.

The one big issue I have with this this is that it comes in a glass bottle. Not what I would call "safe". I dropped the bottle and while the glass didn't break, the plastic top did and I no longer had a top for this so I know it evaporated faster then if I had a top.

I think they have discontinued this product. They don't have it on the web site and I can't find it in the stores anymore.

Overall this product is natural and I like that, but I don't think it made any difference in my skin.

I got this product as a free sample with an order. I do really like the smell, which is surprising because I generally like florals or spicy smells, but this smells very clean and crisp, just like lettuce. I have normal to dry skin and I am surprised that burt's Bee's would put alcohol into a skin toner. I would have imagined them putting something gentler like witch hazel or rose water. The alcohol was very drying to my mostly normal (slightly dry) skin. There are some better toners out there without the stripping effects of alcohol, such as NIVEA alcohol-free toner. I would not recommend this to anyone simply because of the alcohol factor.
