Pros: Versatile, not too big to carry in pocket. Very good photos, good video for non-camcorder.
Cons: Battery contacts poorly designed.
Summary: I've had this camera for 3 plus years. Good all around tool, quality pictures, and good video for not a camcorder. Newer cameras are more compact than this one, but you should definitely consider picking up a used A720 IS for low

Pros: Many great features in a small digital camera you can take anywhere. Highly recommended!
Cons: Recovery time between photos (especially with flash) can get annoying.
Summary: I've had my Canon Powershot A720 IS for over 3 months now and I love it. It's very easy to use and takes sharp, clear, bright color photos, and can go almost anywhere--I often carry it in a pouch on my belt, especially on vacation and during family
