Okay, lets cut to the chase, i wasn't very satisfied with this product. It took a long time to warm up and the plates fall out if you dont put them in right. I bought this a my FIRST hair straightener. Bad idea. I wouldnt reccomend buying this product if its your first one. It is a hassle with all of the plates. I liked how it came with multi plates for different hair designs, but it took forever to style my entire head. I have very thick hair and it didnt work very well for me. I would not reccomend this product if your looking for just a hair straightener, your better of with something else. But if you have ALOT of free time and patience, go for it.

I use this after every shower to straighten my bangs. It makes my hair shinier, but after awhile it starts to smell. It takes awhile to heat up, so I plug it in while I take my shower and it is still heating up as I am blow drying my hair, so it takes maybe about 30 minutes to heat up completely. After it is heated up though, it works great and I only have to do each section of hair about twice. I get so many compliments on my hair. This is a great gift/styling product for any pre-teen or teen!
