Pros: Stunning graphics, fun as hell, jaw-dropping moments, great additions. Cons: A tiny bit short, some controls.
The one of many things a student loathes is history, or at least I do. To me, history is literally boring; nothing about it excites me to learn more about it. So what is my remedy? War games! Call Of Duty is just one of many franchises that take history ...
Pros: Excellent graphics and sound, very immersive experience Cons: Some graphics glitches and a couple of annoying additions
Call of Duty 3 is the latest World War II first-person shooter game to come to the 360, and it's the sequel to the wonderful launch title, Call of Duty 2. Infinity Ward, the production company responsible for the latter game, moved on so ...
Pros: Amazing Graphics, Stunning effects, Great Multiplayer Cons: Voice work, A.I is a little dim
Activisions popular World War 2 franchise is back in next-gen form with Call of Duty 3, and while it may not be drastically changed from previous titles, the effects, Multiplayer and visuals are stellar enough to satisfy any fan. The game is set in ...
Pros: fine gameplay, great graphics, awesome sound Cons: Not much new innovation, just lots more of the good stuff
World War II games are not a rare breed on consoles, but they have the unique challenge of not being able to venture beyond what really happened and instead, tend to revel in the glories of battles past. Such is true of Call of Duty 3, the most faithful ...
Pros: Pitch-perfect intensity and atmosphere, loved the cut scenes and mini-games. Cons: Pathfinding is horrid, the British "campaign" is rather dull compared to the others.
Ill start this review by stating that Im a big fan of videogame developer Infinity Ward. Their breakthrough smash Call of Duty is one of my all-time favorite games and its sequel, Call of Duty 2, is right up ...
Pros: Online, Particle effects, Class Based, Sound Quality Cons: Class imbalance, Online issues, Rehash Campaign
Call of Duty 3 (CoD3) is the fourth addition to a world renound series, as is ill-implied in the title. CoD1 gave a new life to WWII shooters on the PC with a range of perspectives from different nations of the allied forces. CoD Big Red One was the ...
Pros: Action packed WWII shooter that never lets up from the get-go. PHENOMENAL online multi-player. Cons: Some bugs crashed my game. Could be called Call of Duty 2.5,
Un-skippable cut-scenes.
Everyone knows the WWII genre on home consoles has been beaten into the dirt, and then trampled upon by developer after developer in the hopes of digging it back up and finding that it has turned into gold again. Most of the time, they merely dig up the ...
Pros: Amazing X-Box Live, Graphics are still solid. Cons: Game has glitches, game-play is same as Call of Duty 2, lack of innovation
Most people when they write reviews don't usually like to compare games. In my case though it only strengthens what I believe maybe a so so game. Call of Duty 2 was the Call of Duty that seemed to captivate teenagers of all ages. This first person ...
Pros: More players, more depth, more strategy Cons: Maps are too big for games with few players
I won't spend time on the single player game as that has been covered more than adequately by the previous review. I agree with all that he has to say. Multiplayer This game takes what was excellent about the second game and enhances it. ...
Pros: Convenient controls, amazing online multiplayer, challenging story mode! Cons: It is a rather short game, and the maps from CoD2 don't carry over.
I purchased this game on the day it came out and I have been playing it a ton ever since. The graphics are absolutely stunning and the story mode, although a bit short, is lots of fun and pretty challenging at times. I loved CoD2 because of the online ...
Pros: Good Maps, Vehicle allowance, bigger room sizes Cons: Proximity chat, huge maps not conducive to smaller groups
Call of Duty 3 was a disappointment for me. From the ease of action in Call of Duty 2 to the pain the backside call of Duty 3.
There are pros to the game granted, the biggest one being the fact they have allowed the use of vehicles.
However from the game that allowed conversation and banter to proximity chat there is a big difference. The maps are HUGE which does not lend itself to smaller grouped games. Overall not a game that I enjoyed because it took out the friendliness of teams or group games.
