Call of Duty 5: World at War for the PS3

by phungus, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Dec 29 '08
Pros: Plays just like CoD4 with a few enhancements
Cons: Plays just like CoD4, but the weapons mostly suck
After playing Call of Duty 5: World at War for the past month, I think the best thing I can say about it is that if you liked Call of Duty 4, you'll still like this game, but you'll like CoD4 better. It's basically just CoD4 with a World War II ...

VETERAN'S DAY for Video Gamers

by bigtruckseries Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Nov 12 '08
Pros: Remember our Veterans!
Everything that made CoD4 a great game.
Cons: More of the same - just in a different wrapper.
Call of Duty: World at War is an attempt by game developer, Treyarch,  and Activision to repackage Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and sell it to you for  $60 (or more) based merely on the fact that it’s the ...

World War II at it's worst.

by chrisell Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Dec 31 '08
Pros: WWII in hi-def. Great history lesson, great gameplay.
Cons: The re-appearance of all the previous multiplayer hosting problems.
Another game of two parts.COD-WAW - the latest installment of the Call Of Duty series is set in the closing stages of WWII. As with most COD games, you alternate between two characters. In this case a Russian advancing on Berlin, and an American ...

Doodie called while in the bathroom today, saying the same disgusting thing as ever: "PPPpppPPPPpppppppppppGKGKVD#%$^&*KDVDDGTPPPPPppppppp!"

by ChromeKiller Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Aug 02 '09
Pros: Zombies make everything better. Divorced? Turn ex into a flesh-devouring zombie!
Cons: Humans make everything worse. Married? Turn spouse off with dull single-player story.
Been there and done that you did. More of the sameness you had. Not so different it's not, because Activision Blizzard's Call of Duty is a franchise that tends to recycle, reuse, and repeat the same formula that it's been rehashing since the initiation ...

Call of duty world at war: redemption for cod3

by nate45espada , Nov 27 '08
Pros: great multiplayer, and co-op.
Cons: close quarters combat graphics.
Graphics:  The graphics for call of duty world at war were great, but I found that when you got too close to an enemy the graphics got really blurred and ended up getting me mad. Although the cut scenes are annoying, they are great, and have great ...

Call of Duty World at War lacks balance.

by runningpoet05 , Feb 08 '09
Pros: Good One Player Campaign
Cons: Weapon Balance, Nothing New,
Call of Duty World at War has been a real struggle for me to enjoy. While I quite enjoyed the one player campaign that’s where the enjoyment really ended for me. I’ve always loved games for their multiplayer and while this game does have ...

Nazi Zombies stands out
by adamfitz ,Jun 18 '09
Pros: Nazi Zombies
Cons: Everything else
Call of Duty: World at War is a game released in November 2008 by Treyarch. Infinity Ward made Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, but this time it was unfortunately Treyarch's turn.

I don't really like this game aparat from Nazi Zombies, which was a great idea. It's pretty much COD4 with worse guns and maps, also being set around World War 2. If you want to have fun with this game I'd recommend just playing Nazi Zombies.

I'll give Call of Duty: World at war 2/5 (4/10)
