So Yummy Your Dog Will Give You a "High Five"- Canidae Canned Dog Food

by Suzer Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Jan 17 '03
Pros: Dog loves it, great for all life stages, Omega and fatty acids-balanced, holistic
Cons: Availability; cost?
For 16 years I had to be very careful with I fed my chow chow as he had numerous skin allergies and sensitivities to food. Sadly he is no longer with us, but I have a wonderfully rambunctious labrador retriever/German Shepherd (and whatever else sneaked...

Great Food!

by bfam5kids , Mar 10 '03
Pros: great quality, good price, dogs love it
Cons: might be hard to find

A premium food that your dog will love
by john97 ,Jan 29 '07
Pros: Excellent nutrition and quality. Great price compared to other premium brands
Cons: Not as many canned varieties as Natural Balance.
I feed this to our Yellow Lab pup (hardly a pup anymore as she's over 70 lbs). Quality has been consistently excellent. Along with the other food I use, Natural Balance, the dog loves it. Canidae costs less and in my opinion is just as good.

It's not as easy to find as other brands, but I feel it's worth seeking it out. If you're on a budget but want your dog to have a good, quality diet you can't go wrong.

I wish they had more varieties of the canned food, like Natural Balance. But that's a minor thing.
