Pros: Fast, very Fast. Lightweight. Small. Good price. Very good value for the price Cons: Menu is almost not readable in daylight. Some buttons maybe hit by accident.
Let me start by describing the way I ended up with the 350D. I always owned a SLR starting with the Praktica B200 (1984) till now ending up with the Rebel Ti. In between this the Canon 10S and Elan, one of them ended up in seawater (including me) and the ...

Pros: Great Build Quality, Image Quality Second to None, Great Replacement to original Rebel Cons: Body too small for big hands
To start off, I was very hesitant to replace my Canon Digital Rebel because I thought it was a great camera and the picture quality and build quality was excellent. So many times when a manufacturer replaces a model, the specs may be better on paper, but ...

Pros: Many upgrades from original, small size, highly capable, under $1,000 Cons: Difficult to grip, plastic body, small focusing screen
The replacement for the original digital Rebel is sure to sell very well considering the upgrades and price. Canon has reduced the old Rebel's price substantially but that's not enough reason to forgo the new XT version. It has 98% of the 20D's ...

Pros: speed, small, canon, quality and its mine! Cons: minor menu weirdness, but nothing i cant live with.
Had the Rebel xt for about a week. ordered via ebay and a major purchase for me. First one. 13 days later it arrived from Canada all pristine. Wow and Wow is all i can say. I have seen and used the 300d but this is so far in front. speed/features ...

Pros: Everything about it. Size, capabilities, speed, picture quality, battery life. Cons: I wish it had a little bigger screen to review those perfect shots it takes.
Yep, the best camera ever if you're not a professional photographer I guess. I am a Realtor. Now I can take the picture of a room from a corner and still the 90% of the room shows in my picture. Regular home pictures so crisp, so clear they look like ...

Pros: Ready to shoot and easy to use Cons: Slightly heavy
I have just been using the new Canon digital EOS350D, the new and improved 8 megapixel camera (it replaces the 6.3mp so I'm told). A camera nerd friend of mine (maybe I'm being too harsh on him, after all he relies on this type of camera for his job), ...

Pros: Image quality, speed, speed, speed, size, features, price, build quality Cons: LCD too small, too dim to read in bright daylight
My first digital camera was a Kodak DC 40 with a whopping 381,000 pixels and I have been getting a new one every 2 years or so since then. Being no stranger to SLRs and amateur photography (my first SLR was the Olympus OM-1 back in the late 70's), from ...

Pros: Excellent photos, completely equipped, extremely fast, low energy consumption! Cons: none, so far!
The 350D is my 7th digital camera, but my first DSLR. I have shot about 800 photos with it and can't see any point where I could not be completely satisfied. Its pictures are overwhelmingly great (resolution, dynamics, colours etc.). You can easily ...

Pros: High quality images, low noise, blazing performance, excellent battery life, value for money Cons: Kit lens somewhat disappointing, no spot metering, sub-par incandescent performance at AWB
A Note to the Reader: A considerable amount of time was spent debating on whether I ought to write another review. Most would agree that it is incredibly taxing to write a thorough review, especially on complicated things such as electronics. But with ...

Pros: Size, Resolution, Speed, Price, Ease of Use Cons: Plastic Finish
After some research, I bought the Kodak DX7590 at Christmas time. The DX7590 is a great 5.0mp point and shoot camera, and I was fairly happy with it, but I quickly realized I was wanting to put different lenses and filters on the camera and that I wanted ...

Pros: High image quality. Cheap, light, good for telephoto pics due to 1.6x crop. Cons: Not so good for wide angle or medium telephoto due to 1.6x crop.
Bought the 350D (Rebel XT in the US, I believe), as an upgrade to my Canon S70. I felt restricted by the S70's (and other point-and-shoots) because I could not easily autofocus on moving targets. This situation was a particular problem trying to ...

Pros: Fast, Accurate Focus, Easy to Operate and Manipulate, Very Durable! Cons: None
I switched from shooting 35mm to digital last November. I didn't want to spend too much on a digital SLR and I wanted one that would be compatible with the Canon Lenses I already had, so I went with a Rebel XT. It came with an 18-55mm lens and all of the ...

Pros: Super fast shutter and amazing image quality...what more could you need? Cons: No remote and the LCD is a little small.
Overview This camera should last me a good long time before I ever have the desire to buy a new one! I am an avid photographer and like SLRs as I've used one since I first began taking photos 30 years ago. SLRs are not for everyone, but if you ...

Pros: Amazing photos! Awesome durability and lens is crisp! Cons: Cost. Bulky. Learning curve.
I'll start by saying that I'm not a professional photographer. I love to take photos though-- and I was displeased with the results I was getting from my point and shoot. So after 3 years of begging and pleading with my husband to fork over the big ...

Pros: Speed, autofocus, picture quality, affordability. Cons: Can't think of any so far.
After too many missed opportunities with other Point/Shoot cameras, the Digital Rebel was my weapon of choice! It's all-around great for me, out-of-the-box shooting, first time. Whether professional or novice, I can highly recommend it. Like anything, ...
