Pros: 3 diff. picture sizes, APS, drop in loading, worlds smallest and lightest camera Cons: Be careful not to sit on this thing
This is the coolest camera that I have ever owned. I have always bought those cheapo $30 cameras. But when went to Minnesota and Wisconsin for the Ozzfest we forgot a camera. So we were in Target and were just going to buy a couple disposable cameras...
Pros: Easy to use, Light, Small, Auto-Focus, APS film System Cons: It's for people not interested in photography, just people who want pictures
When I was out Christmas shopping last year, I was looking for simplicity in a camera for my partner. He’s not one that is all impressed by the latest features and all he really wanted was a handy little camera to take some quality pictures with. ...
Pros: small, film is extremely easy to load, takes outstanding pictures, 3 picture sizes Cons: almost too small, no zoom
My father gave this to ME for Christmas about 18 months ago. (I will explain the emphasis on ME in a bit) All my husband and I owned was a big, clunky, super-duper camera that takes great photos, but weighs an absolute TON.
Pros: Pocket sized, ease of use, choice of photo sizes. Cons: A little spendy to develop film, no zoom on this model.
I've had my Canon Elph LT for about 2 1/2 years now and I haven't had any significant problems with it yet. I chose to purchase this particular camera because of the Elph's reputation as a pretty good camera and primarily because I wanted a camera I...
Pros: Very small with lots of features - takes great snapshots Cons: Paying a little extra for drop-in loading and negatives that are permanently protected is hardly a con.
I was looking for a small camera that used a standard film format and had built-in flash. I was also looking for a camera that would be rugged enough to take on camping trips and had a way to protect the lens from dust and grime. My camping expeditions...
Being a photo buff, I love to try new things, especially if related to 35mm photography. I've always been interested in Advanced Photographic System (APS) film and cameras but have yet to try one.
Pros: Small size, nice pictures, durable, inexpensive Cons: Red eye reduction doesn't work
I've always believed in capturing the moment. (You know, that classic "Kodak moment") Sure, you can invest in a bulky camera that takes great pictures, but if it's so big that you don't take it with you, what good is it going to do?
I purchased the Canon Elph LT model on Ebay last month. I wasn't completely sold on the APS film system but was very interested in having a small camera. Here's the lowdown on this camera: Size
The elph line of products key selling...

I've brought another into my life, and this one is a keeper!
I had been using a Kodak Advantix since the day they came out and really enjoyed the three picture formats the APS cameras offered, but several months ago I was killing time at...
Pros: Small and Compact, drop in film loading, three picture sizes
Cons: Expensive Film Developing, No Zoom Lens
I bought this camera in 1999. I had heard of the APS camera system, and had been looking for a simple camera for under $100. I was very eager to buy this when I saw it at Target.
I bought the camera and its so amazing how easy this camera...
Pros: great size, great pictures Cons: Price of film
I wish I had this camera years ago when I travelled all over the world.I missed out on taking a lot of photographs due to not wanting to take a bulky camera out in a small purse with me.
This camera is so ideal for popping in your pocket or...
Pros: Very small, good pictures, stylish Cons: If you're into serious photography forget about it
I love this camera. It's so small and cute.
If you want a camera that will take excellent quality pictures than you'll end up either buying something that costs a lot more or is much bigger. This camera takes "Good" pictures, it is...
Pros: Makes taking pictures fun and easy Cons: Nothing
I received the Canon Elph LT as gift. I love that camera! I never want to stop taking pictures. I wanted a camera that was light, small and used Kodak advantix film. The Canon Elph LT fit the description perfectly. The weight on the camera is so...
I purchased this camera for $120, after reading enough good opinions of it that I felt comfortable doing so... As has been well established, this camera is tiny, light by design and very easy to take places... But, I think to many people are so excited...
Pros: tiny, light weight, easy to use, lots of functions Cons: no zoom, standard picture quality
I bought this camera in Sydney when my Olympus Stylus 140 broke on me. I didn't want to buy an expensive camera since I knew I was going to get the Olympus repaired once I got back to the US. I wanted a camera that would not only serve its purpose in...
Pros: ultra-portable, easy to use, excellent photo quality, APS Cons: no zoom, some buttons too small, APS
Canon Elph LT is tiny, and it definitely rules. The feature in this camera IS the size. It fits pretty much any pocket that you have. It's so light and handy that I did find myself taking it everywhere.
Pros: Small, lightweight, fun picture sizes and captions Cons: Quality of photos will depend on where you have them finished
I needed a new camera and was not happy with my 35mm. Eager to try the APS photo system, I opted for the ELPH. This camera is so light and easy to use it immediately became my camera of choice to take on vacation or anywhere for that matter. You will...
Pros: Too many to list them all Cons: Because of it's size, it's hard to keep track of
COOL GADGET- Ok, Ok. So, it doesn't double as a bomb detonator, but it is a darn cool little toy. I got this for Christmas, when I was expecting something far bigger. But after the initial disappointment, it ended up being one of my favorite gifts...
Great size for putting in your pocket and pretty decent pictures. I bought this camera to take snap shots of my baby and it is wonderful. I love the ease of drop in film.
It is the easiest to use camera I have ever had. For a point and shoot...
Pros: Very compact, but photo quality is excellent Cons: no cons
I've had my Elph for over a year now, I take it everywhere because it is so easy to take along. It fits in my jeans pocket or the case has a belt loop if I wear a belt. It has 3 settings on it for photo options, ranging from regular photo size to...
This has to be one of the best camera it've owned. It's compact light and is APS so thats a plus. I got this camera when they just put it out, my wife said that I shouldn't get it because it was so expensive, I just told her it was that way because...
Pros: lightweight and small Cons: no zoom, only automatic focus
I bought this product because it was so compact and I like the fact that I can just throw it in my purse or coat pocket and not even know it is there. Says it only weighs 4.5 ounces with the battery in (feels heavier) but it is still light.
Pros: small size, great pictures Cons: getting finger in shot b/c of small camera
I'll admit it, I love my elph. This is a wonderful camera for a wide array of reasons. First of all, as anyone can see, it is tiny. It fits in any evening bag no matter how dainty and comes in handy on such nights out on the town when one would have...
Pros: Very good picture quality for something so small. Cons: The worst customer service of any company I have ever had to deal with.
We purchased this camera primarily for backpacking, and outdoor trips where weight was at a premium. We picked the Canon based on these features as well as previous experience with Canon products. After the first trip the pictures came back with excellent results for something of this size. However, prior to the second trip the camera failed to turn on, and this could not be rectified by the instructions in the manual. The camera was returned to Canon for warranty repair. We received a letter from Canon informing us that it had been received and would be fixed under warranty. Later Canon decided not to fix this and returned it to us in the unrepaired state. Both Canon and the owner agreed that the fault was not caused by the owner. While I have been happy with the results utilizing Canon products I cannot recommend this product based on a question regarding initial quality, as well as a history of horrendous customer service.
My boyfriend owns this camera... by shopsalot_dt3000 ,Feb 06 '02
My boyfriend owns this camera and has been using for 2 years. It has defiantely held up and he usually carries it in his pocket- its that small. The only thing he wishes it had was a zoom and sometimes the quality of photos is not the best- hard to tell if we should blame the camera or our photo skills for that. We've used the timer too many times and its great.
