Pros: good, clean copies Cons: expensive toner
If you are looking for a good little copier for home or light office use, the Cannon PC 940 is a good choice.
I use it only for minor home use, copying resumes, recipes, etc.
One of the things I like most about it is there are no bells and whistles. I figure that's just more stuff that can break.
I get good clean copies off of this machine. I do have to play with the lightness or darkness depending upon the amount of toner I have.
I am looking around for prices on replacement toner. It is rather expensive, but it makes 4000 copies. For what I use the copier for, it will take me a long time to make that many copies.
I do wish there was a light to warn me when the toner is getting low.
I have had a few paper jams, but with such a basic machine, they are very easy to clear.
If you do a lot of copying, or need more features, such as 2 sided copies, this is not the machine for you.
For my minor usage, I am quite pleased with the Cannon.
