Pros: Quiet, space saving, economical and great value for the price. Cons: None.
The Canon Pixma 130 is a multi-functional printer, copier and scanner which can be used as a stand alone device or connected to a computer. I received this machine as a gift so I had no pre-conceived ideas about it. Installing was extremely ...

Pros: Excellent photo prints, quiet, great scanner/copier; true colors and sharp details in all modes Cons: Slightly larger than some printers, but hey, make room! (This isn't really a "con")
Finally I've found a printer that does everything right, and it's a scanner and copier, too. This all-in-one prints perfect photos: no lines, no dots, with true colors and it's fast. I was shocked to find out how well it prints photos on PLAIN paper, ...

Pros: Cheap. Good quality prints and scans. Cons: It breaks in a relatively short time - not just mine but many.
I liked this printer - it prints okay, scans okay, is easy to use, quick to print, not too noisy... When set to Hiqh Quality and using glossy photo paper, it prints great 4x6 photos, I have not tried larger ones yet. I really do not print many ...

Best printer I ever bought.
by javi0084 ,Jan 17 '06
Pros: Everything. Economical, quality, and looks. Cons: Nothing.
It prints fast and the quality is excellent. I buy black ink cartridges for less than $7 and color ones for less than $18. The only thing I can't comment on is the memory card reader because I have never used it. Just remember to buy a printer cable because it does not come with one (I don't think there is any printers that come with a printer cable.)

This is great - Perfect fotos
by epinionatedpf ,Dec 29 '05
Pros: Cheap to maintain(ink), quiet, fast, clarity Cons: flimsy scanner lid
I bought this printer soley on the basis that it was only $50 from Officeworks - on clearance. It prints very fast but also quietly, much more so than my epson. The quality of the photos for a tri color printer is impeccable, When you use the photo paper and appropriate settings, it produces vivid, clear photos.
Printing text is rather fast but the quality is great, the clarity of the characters is brilliant.
Ink cartridges are very cheap - $7 black, $12 color!!! They do last for a long time too.
It is really simple to use, the controls are intuitive - although a backlit screen would have been a plus.
All in all this multifunction represents great value with quality results - and affordable running costs.

Luv It!
by ebrazle ,Dec 02 '05
Pros: Value, cheap ink, looks nice, easy set-up, Canon reputation Cons: Maybe a little slow on scanning, but really
None
I have had my Canon Pixma MP130 for about 6 months. I have printed everything imaginable on it, scanned, and copied. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I will NEVER own a printer that isn't a Canon!!! Sometimes Canon is a little pricier up front (compared to a cheap HP or Lexmark), but in the long run it is SO worth it. Ink is very inexpensive. I can go just about anywhere and get Color for under $20 & Black for well under $10 (usually $7ish). When you consider other brands of ink that can run you as much as a new printer, this can't be beat. I've printed LOTS of color and black stuff and have only changed cartridges twice. The scanning feature seems a little slow to me, but that may have something to do with my computer, don't know. And, it's a LITTLE noisy, but not much worse than any other printer I've ever heard. All in all, why would anyone want anything else!
