Pros: Good low-light performance, good controls, some powerful shooting modes, nice battery life Cons: No viewfinder or flash hotshoe, interface still more complicated than it needs to be

Pros: Tiny camera that packs a powerful punch. Great low light images. Great scene settings. Manual mode. Cons: Flash can drain battery quickly.

Pros: Feature rich; Canon quality, small & lightweight; can produce good shots in virtually every situation Cons: Not built for bigger hands; can't take a hard-knock life; some menus require study

Pros: Small, portable, extensible memory capacity and all weather usability makes this camera fantastic. Cons: No cons for this camera in comparison with others in same category.
Summary: I have used many cameras over the past 20 years and was excited to own my very first Digital camera a decade ago - it was a Canon with a 3 mpx lens, which seemed stunning at the time. With the PowerShot S95, I have been getting clearer
