Pros: Convenient & easy to carry camera. Pictures this camera renders are perfect for everyday shots. Cons: Battery life could be longer, pictures could be a bit sharper. Charger not fast enough.
I did my homework before my purchase and paid particular attention to the reviewers negatives on the net about this camera, it really boiled down to a 50/50 ratio of good vs bad from my point of view. So I decided to make my purchase and give it my own ...

Cannon Powershot SD780IS
by alegend ,Jun 09 '09
Pros: Size Picture quality is outstanding Point and shoot, fast 12.4 Megapixel 3x zoom lens long battery life Cons: Cannon wanted $70.00 for a mini HDMI cable when I found it elsewhere for $6.00
Great Camera, fantastic picture quality Never blurry, never red eyes, just great pictures. 12.4 Megapixel, HD video capable but you must buy the mini HDMI cable. Easily Fits in your pocket, it is almost too small but is just perfect size. Zoom works good for a 3.0 zoom lens. This is what you want in a point and shoot camera. It also has all kinds of regular ISO settings for the expert photographer. Comes in cool colors too. Uses a special Cannon battery pack and not just plain old AA or AAA batteries. When you see how small it is you will know why. My last Cannon camera was a Cannon AE1, The SD780is beats it in every thing that it does and it does much more. You will love taking true 1082 High Definition movies of your own with this little baby. The Cannon SD780is is the perfect pocket camera for your pocket you will forget it is even in your pocket, great for vacations, or anything. You won't miss a picture with this camera it loads the operating system in a flash and is ready to go from being turned off to taking pictures in about a second. The color is outstanding.
