Pros: Comprehensive information for outdoor sports, reasonably fashionable, rugged and lightweight design (titanium) Cons: Low contrast display, measurement not instant nor continuous (or accurate), limited indoor use
Outdoor sports may be all about being close to nature, but a little help here and there is not a bad idea either. Casio has a reputation to build big watches (G-Shock) and often with a lot of gimmicks that even McGyver would be proud of. Without the ...
Pros: Solar powered, Well made, substantial feeling, GREAT price vs. value, mineral crystal Cons: I cant say I have experienced any.
I ordered the CASIO Tough Solar watch (model MTP1225-1av) online after much research online and in-store. The first thing - price. Target and many other stores had this watch priced at $80. I was able to get this watch online (Overstock.com) for $32 ...
Pros: The one-button countdown alarm feature is SO handy +it is smaller than most alarm watches. Cons: Couldn't find it in local stores-had to order online.
For many years I've had (and loved) an earlier, plastic version of this watch. I use the countdown ...
Pros: Cool colored digital numbers
Dual time
Water Resist to 50M Cons: Tiny edata memory
Tedious input method
Dual time easy to change by accident
The Casio DB-70 is a stylish digital watch with unique colored LCD and numbers. According to the Casio website it came with a metal or a resin band. I bought the black resin band model. I believe it is now discontinued. I can see why. The features did ...
Pros: Thermometer, Extremely Shock Resistant, Anti-Scratch Mineral Crystal Cons: Dim micro-light
Hi there!
I've had this watch for over a year now, and out of all the watches I've owned, this one is the best!
It looks great, it has a nice, big display, and my favorite feature about it is the thermometer! I've always been amazed by...
Pros: Shock resistant, thermometer, sunrise/sunset data, stopwatch, very durable, great design Cons: big face, light feature
CASIO DW6100 Watch Hi! I know that if you are planning on buying this watch, you have already looked up all the features on the casio website and shopped around etc. So Ill just tell you my opinion/epinion! PROS: Its a G-shock!! I know ...
Pros: Multi function capability Cons: Some functions are useless.
I guess the technology is not quite there yet to provide the capabiliteis this watch is supposed to. Things you do not know until you buy it and read the booklet are...1. The compass does not work in buildings, cars, boats, planes or around any heavy...
Pros: Great Ladies Watch With Digital Display Cons: No backlight
I agree with the first review. I had an earlier version of this watch for several years, and then when I needed a new one it had been discontinued. WELL, IT'S BACK! It has everything you could possibly need in a watch, except for a backlight which ...
Pros: Durability and longevity. Cons: Lacks light, alarm, multiple date, altitude, temperature, compass, calculator, database, larger numerals are possible
This is a great, simple watch. The battery never runs down (I have one with a battery that is ten years old). This is because it has no illumination, and no alarm, and thus little drain on the battery. The watch is unaffected by heat, cold, impact, or water; mine have gone through the wash and dry many times, and have been in salt water hundreds of times. The two buttons are recessed, and can not be pressed by accident. The watch shows all the information necessary: time, day, date. It can display either 12-hour or 24-hour time. The numerals are about 1/4 inch high, which is pretty good.
Pros: SERIOUSLY tough.cool sunrise sunset feature.thermometer.usual extras. Cons: slightly weak strap(only lasts 7 yrs),mines runs slightly fast few secs a week.
Iv'e had one for 14 years now bought it when they first came out.apart from a couple of straps and numerous pins (the original ones seem stronger),and a single battery its still going strong with only a few scratches.(none of which are on the glass).and its taken SERIOUS abuse over the years.toughest watch ever?
I Could Not Live Without This Watch by chief41074 ,Jun 20 '05
Pros: The telememo, schedule, and countdown clock features. Cons: The watchband is the weak link. They always break before the watch gives out.
I have owned Casio Databank watches for at least the last 15 years. I know a lot of guys who carry around PDA's, but I get by with my watch. I rely on it to remind me of appointments, birthdays, etc.
Pros: Quality, design, price, good for every occasion, glass Cons: Date-sometimes forget to turn it
Thats what you should call them.
(Sorry for my English...I'm from Croatia, Europe)
I'm really happy with that watch. Have it for more than 4 years, no problems at all.
It's good for every occasion, every day use. Don't drove to much attention, so it doesn't look to pushy. If you know what I mean. It gives you certain type of class.
Elegant but also resistant, good for outdoor activity.
And that glass, I just can't believe how good it is, no scratch at all. I wear it all the time, and believe me I don't seat at home all day.
Excellent watch for every day use by jw4ctr ,Feb 06 '04
Pros: Multi sensor and no need for battery. Cons: Missing stop watch and big watch.
I have purchased this watch hiking and camping purposes. I have used this watch for years now and it has been a great help around town or in the woods. So far I do not have any battery issue like other Swiss made watches and I truely enjoy the reliability of this watch. One thing that is missing is the stop watch function and I believe Casio added the function to the next generation of Pathfinder, (PRG-60). By the way that I still have a G-Shock watch that suppose to have battery replaced 5 years ago and I never have to replace the battery and it is still ticking where I gave up waiting for it to die since it has been so out-dated.
Pros: Solar power, Atomic timekeeping, Easy to read, Nice looking watch Cons: Atomic timekeeping a bit weak during the day
I bought this watch because I wanted a solar powered watch with atomic timekeeping. I also like the way it looks.
This watch only needs a few minutes of sunlight to run all day. Or, on a cloudy day, it takes a little longer, but still maybe a half-hour to an hour - I can do that on the bus, if I need to.
The atomic timekeeping function works well at night, but intermittently during the day; some days it works well, other days it works not at all. But, even on the days it doesn't work on, it still works the night before, and the night after, so it's still accurate.
The other features, including a stopwatch and three alarms, are all easy to use.
Bright numbers bring a pop of color to a cute watch dial accented with hearts and sparkles and finished with a leather strap. Includes shock resistanc...More at Nordstrom
