I came down with the flu about a week ago and ended up with a sore throat. Throughout my life, I have not been able to find a good cough drop that will take away the pain. I finally have! When I get sick, I have severe throat pain, and this is the only thing that has been able to take it away.

Pros: Readily available.
Cons: Doesn't work. At all. Stomach Ache to go with sore throat.

I have tried this product on several occassions because my boyfriend swears by it...I don't think my boyfriend gets real sore throats.

My first reaction when trying this product was Ewww!! Gross!!!! My second reaction was - "I think I am going to barf"

The product tastes disgusting, but that is only the beginning. No matter how many times I try Cepacol, it never helps relieve the pain. At all. But it does give me an awful stomach ache, which sort of, indirectly, distracts me so I don't think about my sore throat.

I will never try it again. In four simple words, the product doesn't work.
