I have been using Cepacol® Maximum Strength Sore Throat Spray for many years now. Along with the spray I utilize the Nice lozenges. Together this system has helped me through the cold and flu seasons consistently. Another plus with the...
Lucky me works in the hospital industry, thus I am constantly coming into contact with sick patients. So it is only natural that I contract a lot of colds throughout the year. Last year, I found myself with the first case of laryngitis that I have ever...
Pros: Sealed bottle, Not bad tasting at all, and the numbing stuff works. Cons: Numbed my mouth, not my throat.
Review of Cepacol Sore Throat Maximum Relief Cherry: I've had a horrible sore throat for a couple days now. Let me tell you what it feels like; I've never tried it before but I can imagine swallowing a few sewing needles feels about the same. I wanted it to go away. I called my mom and had her pick me up some. Later that night I tired it out.
First off, I loved how it was sealed.
Second, I hated how it sprayed; it did a spray more than a stream, and some of you may be thinking "Stream into the back of your throat?! That'd suck". But take this into consideration: my throat is very swollen. So when I sprayed it, my mouth became more numb rather than my throat. That doesn't help me very much.
Third, I "changed" the sprayer... (I put a push pin into the hole to make it bigger) and I got the stream I wanted. It didn't change anything. It got my throat perfectly but my throat didn't numb, my mouth did.
I wanted relief, and I wanted it fast. I got a numb mouth and I still cringe everytime I swallow.
