Pros: Low Price, Great Construction, Clean Bass, Powerful Bass, Excellent Bass Response, Etc... Cons: Nothing At All
I own a Cerwin-Vega LW-12 in one of my home theater hook-ups, and my grandparents also use one. Mine is uses a THX certified subwoofer cable out of a Yamaha RX-V995, and my grandparents run it through the left main speaker out from a Yamaha RX-V596. Both...

bass power!
by smashcat ,Oct 25 '04
Pros: excellent bass with a punch.... Cons: haven't found any yet and its going on 5 years!
I love this sub & it fits in nicely w/ two E-712 12" floor standing speakers & the E-76C center channel (all Cerwin Vega!). I'm very impressed with the LW12 and would highly recommend this to anyone looking to add high quality heart stopping bass to any 2.0 stereo or 5.1 dolby digital system. I use both 2.0 stereo & 5.1 digital and have been for the last 5 years now. I've been nothing but impressed w/ this durable Cerwin Vega! product.

Excellent subwoofer...
by jonathanlarson ,Jan 06 '05
Pros: Very high quality. Excellent sound, perfect for music. Cons: I blew out a light bulb with this subwoofer, set at 120 hz, no joke.
The Cerwin Vega LW-12 is probably the best subwoofer you can get for it's price. I compared the LW-12 to a Klipsch KSW-12 ($500 subwoofer), and the LW-12 compared very well. The LW-12 went as deep (bass depth), and it is more musical. One more thing to point out is, the Cerwin Vega LW-12 cabinet is far superior than the Klipsch KSW-12 cabinet ($500 subwoofer).
I highly recommend this subwoofer, it is in a class by itself, and compared to high-end subwoofers, it definitely is worth your time and money. MADE IN USA.
