Smoker works great
by hagar41 ,Mar 02 '06
Pros: size of the cooking area and wood smoke area Cons: Didnt come with a temp Gauge and cannot find a cover for it.
I bought this product to both Smoke goodies and do regular Charcoal grilling. It works fairly well for both. The charcoal grilling is a bit touchy as there is no height adjustment for the cooking grates over that part of the grill. Smoking however went very well. I have done sausage bacon and even did a 18 lb turkey over thanksgiving which came out excellent. It is a bit touchy to control your smoke temp but I am also new to smoking so it could very well be my lack of experience for sure. All in all I'd buy it again if I had it to do over.
