Summary: For my taste, Cheesemans Ecology Safaris is the best tour operator for general trips to Antarctica, and I write this from the perspective of having made 11 tirps to the region, with five different companies. They have the best staff to passenger ratio,

Pros: Everything is arranged. It is easy. Just show up. Cons: Life is too short. Wish I'd discovered Cheesemans years ago.

Pros: Well planned, good length of time, excellent guides, comfortable lodgings, only 16 guests. Cons: Food on board is plentiful, but not a culinary experience!
Summary: Even if it isn't on your "list" you must consider touring the Galapagos with Cheeseman's Ecology Safaris! Having recently returned from an 11 day unforgettable adventure with Cheeseman's in the Galapagos, I still smile at the memories.
