Pros: Charming Graphics, Amazing Soundtrack, New Stuff Added to an Already Awesome Game Cons: Steeper than Usual Price Tag ($40)
Chrono Trigger stands today as one of the most highly regarded RPGs of all time, and considering it was released well over a decade ago on the 16-bit Super Nintendo, the fact that it sticks so vividly in the minds of gamers is quite telling. ...

Pros: - Story - - Gameplay - - Graphics - - Sound -
Most everything is a "pro", really. Cons: It ended too quickly for me, despite its 30-hour length.
Chrono Trigger DS, Square Enix's beloved time-traveling RPG, showcases what was ground breaking narrative and game play elements back in 1995 (developed for SNES) on the Nintendo DS. In 2009, the game still holds up with an epic story chalked full of ...

Pros: Great graphics, sound, plot, and a decent amount of flexibility to the mostly linear story. Cons: $40 price, "real-time" battle cannot really be turned off.

Awesome game loyal to SNES greatness
by devinsir ,Jul 06 '09
Pros: Music Plot/Characters Fighting techniques Cons: None
Great game! I am someone old enough to remember the Chrono Trigger for the SNES and I even played it not too long ago. It's a truly awesome RPS with a great storyline, good graphics, and spot-on music. Overall, I was very glad to see that the DS version stayed loyal to the greatness of the SNES version. Now a whole new generation of fans can enjoy Chrono Trigger in all its glory.
One of the biggest pros of Chrono Trigger clearly is the storyline. It has plot twists and turns that will keep you guessing. I especially love the time-traveling formula in the plot. That and the awesome characters you can switch around and play.
Another big pro of Chrono Trigger is the music, which I love. I've had the CD of it such I was younger and I listen to it alot.
One last pro of Chrono Trigger is the fighting options available. I love the special moves and the many combination attacks.
I don't really have any cons for Chrono Trigger. I think it's perfect as it is. The only possible problem is that some of the villains can be a little too easy to beat (I think).
