Pros: family plans, carryover min, free long distance Cons: Horrible quality connections, 24 mo contract, employee attitude at store
I recall the days where I carried a bag around with my mobile phone in it. That was about 16 years ago. My how time flies. Today we have tiny phones, cameras and video recorders in phones, music players in phones, all sorts of new toys. ...
Pros: Inexpensive, excellent coverage, helpful customer service Cons: Clarity is sometimes an issue - even with brand new phones
Intro Before I began my Cingular cell phone service, I was a satisfied Sprint PCS customer (more on that in another review). Because of my job, I had to move from Virginia to Georgia and I noticed a pretty dramatic decline in coverage, so ...
Pros: NICE PHONES THATS ABOUT IT. Cons: WORST CUSTOMER SVC EVER WHEN YOU CALL THEM
CINGULAR CHANGED MY CONTRACT TO 2 YEARS WITH OUT TELLING ME. I ONLY SIGNED UP FOR 1 YEAR. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS 2 YEARS WHEN I CALLED THEM UP. I TOLD THEM IT WAS AN ERROR ON THERE SYSTEM. THEY INSISTED NO, AND TOLD ME THEY WILL INVESTAGATE. I NEVER GOT A ...
Pros: cheaper than others Cons: Horrible customer service, bad coverage area, inconsistent
I have used Cingular for a little under two years now and can say without a doubt that it is the worst!!! The people who work in their customer service center must have at the most a 3rd grade education level. It is impossible to deal with them or ...
Pros: Non Cons: Bad customer service, bad reception, bad phones, 2 year contract, bad technical support
I got a cingular phone about two months ago. The coverage is not good at all. I used to have a verizon phone and I could get reception almost everywhere. But, with cingular I can never get signal inside buildings, in the basement. Moreover, i get A ...
Cingular Customer Service VERY DISAPPOINTING by klekot ,Jan 23 '06
Pros: Bundled service with Bellsouth can save you around 10 percent. Cons: Locked into a two year service agreement and may lose your service at any time.
I would never choose Cingular for wireless service again. Our three cell phones (all three from different manufacturers) worked perfectly at our home for the first seven months. For the past two months through today 1/23/2006 we still continue to have NO service at our home or within a one mile radius. They have tried downloads, opening service tickets for the local towers, troubleshooting with tier 2 support... with no success. They say we are in a medium coverage area but we continue to have no signal. When asked about releasing us from the service contract... their response is that we signed an agreement saying that there could be temporary loss of service. We aren't sure how many months are considered "temporary"? It is very frustrating for me to lose my service after seven months with no solution from Cingular.
Don't even think about using Cingular. Sorry do nothing outfit! by zip37602 ,Oct 18 '06
Pros: None. Beware, they will take your money and laugh at you. Cons: Customer service is a joke and phone service is intermittent at best.
This is without a doubt the worst phone service I ever had. Voice mail comes about two or three days late. Customer service is an insult. I signed a 2 year contract, had decent service the first three months, then half my calls afterward were interrupted.
