On the Contrary

Pros: nothing comes to mind Cons: hidden two year commitments; poor customer service communications
Despite all the emphatic advertising, Cingular does have dropped calls.
How about dropped incoming calls ? The phone beeps to let you know someone had called and left a message, even though you had the phone on, which didn't ring.
Despite their ability to text message advertisements to your cell phone, Cingular doesn't let you know by the same media that you might have overlooked paying your current bill.
Instead they rely on cut rate postal notifications that get delivered after your service has already been cut off.
Having now also tried Verizon and Sprint, maybe all these cellphone companies are the same, especially always hammering you into two year commitments, some done with a slight of hand, even when you're changing rate plans or making equipment changes.
Federal taxes add approximately $6 to $10 and more to what you think your monthly plan cost is.
Don't try to understand or reconcile your monthly bill and airtime charges.
The cards are against the consumer on this poker table.
The only consistently good comments I hear in this neck of the woods are about T-Mobile.
