Pros: Smells wonderful, cleans hair but doesn't overdry, leaves hair shiny and light Cons: Can be pricey, chemical ingredients
I generally don't buy Clairol products, just because they seem over hyped, and there is usually a store-knockoff at a lower price that I would choose instead (being that the ingredients are the same). However, during a shopping excursion in ...
Pros: The scent, the lather, the way it works Cons: Nothing, none, zip, zilch
I don't think there's anyone that has not seen the totally dumb Herbal Essences commercials. I traded shampoos with my mother-in-law after my last shampoo disaster. She got the Thermasilk, I got the Herbal Essences. Now I have always been of the ...
Pros: Clears the grease and grime away brilliantly, works for several days. Cons: Does not treat dry end problems
I purchased this shampoo because I have hair that is greasy at the roots and dry at the ends. I also have very long hair and it gets greasy at the roots within a couple of days of washing, therefore, I needed a shampoo that was gentle enough to use on a...
I'm sure Herbal Essences commercials have all caught our eye at one point or another. The cries of YES, YES and the irresistible lather draw us in. :-) Before I bought Herbal Essences Clarifying Shampoo, I had tried other types of Herbal Essences...
Pros: Effective in oil removal, Improves hair shine and softens, Smells good Cons: Slightly expensive, Some bad ingredients
I have been using this shampoo for over a month now, and I must say that I am very pleased with this product. The first thing that you will notice when buying this shampoo is the price. (The price is somewhat expensive.) The shampoo is available in two...
Pros: Makes your hair look really clean, smells like a gorgeous flower garden. Cons: Can be expensive, better to wait for a sale.
I use Clairol Herbal Essences Clarifying Shampoo regularly. I used to use Finesse, then I switched to Herbal Essence when a friend told me about how good a shampoo it is. I tried it and I have been using it ever since, for about two years now. I even got...
I have used the Herbal Essences Shampoo for normal hair containing camomile, aloe vera for over a year now and I must say I love it.
Like all Herbal Essences products it’s based on pure spring water with natural herbs and plant extracts – in this...
Pros: Smells great, feels great, surprisingly inexpensive, lightened my hair shade. Cons: More tangles in my hair than I've ever had before. Is it the herbs?
Unfortunatly, unlike the ad campaigns, Herbal Essences doesn't make you go into throws of rapturous excstacy, but it does get your hair clean and has a wonderful smell.
The two best things about Herbal Essences are definately the smell and the...
Pros: Smell, Clarifying Effect, Lather, Rinseability, Etc. Cons: None For Me :)
I love Herbal Essences, so I have tried them all. I love Clarifying shampoos, so naturally I tried Herbal Essences Clarifying Shampoo. --> Product Description: Clairol says Herbal Essences is: "Infused with hand-picked essences of Rosemary, ...
Pros: smells nice, cheap, sold in most drug stores Cons: that I can't find a bigger bottle
I've been using this product for 10 years, and it has never failed me. I've tried other shampoos to spice things up a bit in my routine, and other shampoos for oily hair, but this one stands the test of time. When I used other products, my hair became ...
Pros: Even my hairdresser noticed the difference in my hair. Cons: Nothing - I love this stuff.
I started using this shampoo 2 years ago and within 2 weeks my hairdresser could not believe how much healthier my hair is. Prior to using this, my hair was limp, dry and unmanagable. My hair had been so abused by styling products and coloring that my...
Pros: very nice smelling Cons: can cause your hair to become mildly dry if you don't follow up with conditioner
I bought this product because I generally have a fetish for shampoo and trying different kinds. This shampoo lived up to its claims. It cleaned by hair, almost stripped it (but in a good way) of all its oil, which was exactly what i was looking for....
Greasy roots USED to be a thing of the past by sweetnovember ,Nov 07 '06
Pros: Takes away every bit of grease without overdrying your hair, the smell, the cost! Cons: Nothing
I wish they still had this shampoo on the market...This has to be the best clarifying shampoo out there (I've tried numerous brands). This shampoo takes away all the greasy roots while leaving my ends and roots with softness, shine, and a bit of body. The smell is fantastic!! If anyone knows where I can buy some please let me know!
Pros: Breaks through nasty oil build up Cons: Can be drying to your scalp
I have lived with oily hair my whole life. When I got pregnant it got worse. The only thing I found that would cut the nasty oil build up in my hair was Herbal Essences Clarifying Shampoo for Oily hair. I tried everything, every brand of shampoo and every homemade remedy. This was the only thing that helped. Now that my son has been born, my hair isn't quite as oily as it had been, but I continue to be faithful to this shampoo. It's still the best shampoo on the market for oily hair.
The only negative part about this shampoo is if used too often it does have a tendency to dry your hair out, causing a dry scalp as well. I suggest using a leave in conditioner once in awhile or a wash out conditioner. I condition my hair once every two weeks to make sure my scalp doesn't get too dry.
