Pros: cheap Cons: smell, provided no control, flaking
I am continually on the look-out for hair products that can tame my naturally wavy hair. I had heard from a friend that this mousse was able to tame her curly hair so I figured it would help out my wavy hair. Boy, was I wrong!
Pros: inexpensive might be good for thicker hair
no animal testing Cons: didn't add volume
I was on a mission to find a good holding mouse to add volume to the top of my straight fine hair. I went to the store and picked up the Clairol Herbal Essences Styling Mousse8oz this was all they had.
Pros: Gives hair manageability. Cons: Volume and hold are just not up to par.
Since I have been conditioning my hair with Neutrogena Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-In Cream, and using a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, it has improved a lot after having a bad perm. Recently, I ...
Pros: Great smell, lasting amount, cheap price ($3) Cons: Flaking, weighs hair down
I've been using Clairol Herbal Essences for years, since I was a teen with acne and my dermatologist recommended that I use water-based styling aids. I love the smell of Herbal Essences products.
Pros: controls frizzy puffy curls and it smells great Cons: I have heard it makes hair fall off
I first started using herbal essences mousse about five years ago. I buy it because it's cheap and I love the way it can control my frizz. I have really stubborn hair it's curly and puffy and if I don't use herbal essences it just gets worse.Herbal ...
Pros: Smells delicious!!! Cons: Doesn't hold, leaves white bits in my hair that don't come out.
Cruising in my local supermarket, I stopped to pick out my usual mousse from the hair care aisle. Unfortunately, it wasn't there but I brightened up when I saw the Clairol Herbal Essences Styling Mousse. I had never seen it before and it was on special!...
Pros: Smells great, Lightweight, and doesn't flake. Cons: None
Ok so I know I'm not the only one who has seen women with the most beautiful hair but it must have taken FOREVER to do I mean, wash, mousse, blow dry, gel, hairspray....Seriously does anyone in their right mind REALLY have time for all that? Along with...
An awesome product for curly hair . . . by karinas1999 ,Sep 18 '06
Pros: It is affordable and is alcohol free-so it's not sticky or crunchy. Cons: It's being axed by Clairol
I bought this product because it was an alcohol free mousse. I've kept buying it because this product is awesome for ladies with curly hair (like me). I've used it for 3 or more years. It gives my curly hair lift, volume, and helps create locks of curls.
Most products for curly hair weigh curls down (that is why your curls don't look as pretty!) and have alcohol in them. Alcohol tends to give curls a sticky and crunchy look and feel.
