Pros: has a "clean" scent to it Cons: not safe for sensitive skin, not effective, caused a reaction..read on
On my ongoing quest to improve my skin I came across a Clarins counter. Although I had not purchased anything from them before I generally thought of their products as being good. I know two women who swear by them and who happen to have great skin...
Pros: Probably won't dry you out. Cons: Butter wouldn't either, but we don't try to wash our face with it.
Much like any other avid and choosy consumer of cosmetics, I discover that some products thrill me, some chill me, and many I can take or leave. But rarely does a product leave me feeling completely bewildered and even a little indignant. Enter Clarins...
Pros: Scent, good for dry skin Cons: Doesn't clean your face, expensive
Let me start by saying this. I love Clarins. I hate this product. If this was a cheaper product I would have rated it "average." Since it costs almost $25, it gets a "below average" from me.
I have been using Clarins skincare products for a...
Pros: Clears up your skin. Cons: Must be used with a toner or clarifying lotion, expensive.
I was having frequent break outs when I used Estee Lauder cleansing products. In the past, I have worked in cosmetics, and remembered that Clarins had some great products for the skin!
USE OF THE PRODUCT: I purchased the cleansing milk with...
Pros: Cleansed without drying or tightening. Cons: None for my skin
Let's face it, complexions in the Southwest are especially challenged. It's December, and today it was 71 degrees. So, my poor skin doesn't know whether to be scrubbed to remove oil and grit or gently cleansed. For me, Clarins Cleansing Milk has been...
Pros: None. Cons: Doesn't clean at all. Leaves pores OPEN all day and night. Awful.
Like the other reviews, I was totally unhappy with this product. I used the Purifying Cleansing Gel, and some crazy sales gal told me to try this cleansing milk (the one for oily skin is what I used) to help take off make up. First she says to use it ...
Pros: Smells good, Comes in a flip top bottle Cons: expensive, doesn't remove all dirt and makeup, clogged my pores
I recently decided that I would like to try a new facial cleanser. There was nothing wrong with the one I was already using; I just thought that maybe there was something that could just make my skin look even better. I've never had any major ...
Pros: It kept my face clear of blemishes Cons: The smell is overpowering, dried out and irritated my skin
I got a free sample of this from the lady at the Clarins counter when I was browsing by one day.
Clarins is a French line that always has samples of every one of their products at the counter that you are free to take home and enjoy.
Pros: Leaves skin soft, cleansed, and fresh Cons: Price, slightly messy to work with, doesn't remove ALL dirt
I love this cleanser! It is a bit odd to work with if you aren't familiar with it already. You have to dampen face, then cup hands over face to suction product out. But if you do this properly, it does work! My skin is soft and smooth. It does leave behind a bit of residue, but that comes right off after a wipe with the cleansing lotion. It isn't a harsh cleanser, so it doesn't strip all dirt and makeup off skin. But I don't mind using the toner to remove the little excess it leaves behind.
All in all, It smells great ( in my opinion!) and has done very well with my sensitive, dry skin.
