Crispy is as crispy does

Pros: Good sound quality at low volume
Cons: High-range a bit harsh at medium to high volume
Sound quality: FAIR TO GOOD

I don't play my system at an abusive SPL, but at moderately high volume, the SRR1633s are a little too "crispy" (harsh, I suppose) for my taste. The hihats and some treble sounds tend to drown out the mid and lower...
