I use many clean & clear products that do not work on me. I am 15 years old and i have normal skin but sensitive to acne products (sometimes my skin turns brick red the next morning from overnight acne creams).

I bought this bottle of astringent for about $5 at a local CVS (you can normally find coupons in the post for it too), and it was a fairly large bottle with plenty of product. You flip open the cap, and turn it upside down onto a cotton ball to use the astringent.

The moment I applied it to my T-zone area (nose/forehead), I could feel the stuff working. It didn't burn like I've read in the other reviews, and didn't try out my skin either. The stuff tingled and buzzed a little--It felt liekt he stuff was working.

I don't know if it's just my eyes or seomthing, but my nose looks as if the blackheads are sucked in or becoming 'less black' if that is at all possible. The pores look smaller, and looks like clear skin.

I recommend that you purchase this, because it works!

Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Astringent is just what I've been looking for. No stinging or burning, or drying of the skin. Within days, stubborn, and sometimes painful blackheads are gone. I'd recommend this to anyone who has a problem with nasty blackheads.

This product does a good job at tackling acne and removing blackheads....... honestly some of my blackheads were gone and this is very hard to do in an astringent..... it refined my pores got rid of most blackheads and had very nice results...... I have sensitive skin and this lotion or astringent wassn't too drying..... I did not get irritated...... I would love it if it were fragrance free but this is a great astringent. Try it.

I started using this astringent about a year ago and it is still working. First thing I have acne prone and oily skin. I have to use an astringent that is gentle and effective. This is hard to come by these days.Most astringents are too harsh for even normal skin. Honestly clean and clear know what their doing.This product is a must have for everyone who has a face. Why you ask because it is gentle enough for anyone and it refreshes the skin making it soft and clean. Another great thing about this product is it has a mild dose of salicylic acid for acne skin types. Johnson and Johnson make very good products. Clean and Clear is also cheap. This product was only 4.49. I feel I have the most moody skin and this product worked well for my skin. So do check into this one.

I have had acne for a long time and not only on my face, but on my neck in front and near my hairline in the back. At first I didn't like using anything at all because most products would dry out my skin causing my pours to produce even more oil and thus, more repulsive pimples.

A friend referred me to the Clean&Clear system. First of all I think that users who allege that the astringent causes their skin to dry out are probably using it the wrong way. I use three different Clean&Clear products daily.

First is the Foaming Facial cleanser which I use with a GENTLE exfoliating cloth. Keyword: Gentle.

Then I apply the deep cleaning astringent all over my face and neck area.

Once it's dry I use the Dual Action Moisturizer.

Keep doing this every morning, night and possibly in the middle of the day. After using this product more and more, my skin is increasingly clearer, firmer and overall youthful and healthy.

It's great. But don't use just one of the products, they're designed to work as a system.

I bought this product because I am a long-term user of Clean&Clear facial cleanser (which I love!). I bought this because I wanted to rid my face of any residue from makeup and dirt. Although I didn't notice any change in the amount of blackheads I got, it did a tremendous job of tightening my pores only within a weeks use. I love the fact it does not sting your face as many astringents tend to do. After using it, I get a nice mild tingly feeling which is very refreshing and is perfect for closing the pores before bed. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants a clarifying toner to use after washing your face.
