My daughter developed a very large plantar wart on the side of her heel. My pediatrician recommended Clear Away but with a twist! He said that it was most effective if you a) soaked the foot in warm water for 10 - 20 minutes before application of the medicated disk and b) that we cover the disk and cushioning pad with duct tape! He said that the duct tape does two things-keeps the disk and pad in place for the 48 hours recommended between changes and also keeps oxygen away from the wart which helps weaken and kill the virus. The wart was almost 1/2 inch high and was gone in 8 days using the clear away and duct tape. Boy that duct tape CAN fix anything!
