Great irons, great price!

by bosh2000 , Mar 07 '01
Pros: high quality, easy to hit -- even the long irons, great price
Cons: wish they offered the Gunmetal finish when I bought mine!
In 2000, Cleveland Golf saw their sales of golf equipment soar while other manufacturers struggled. How did they do it? By following this simple strategy: offer a high quality product at a price below their competition. And, folks, the Cleveland TA5...

Cleveland TA5 Tour Action Irons

by androoos Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Oct 18 '02
Pros: Affordable higher-end club, lots of bang for buck. Sensicore shafts are great for feel.
Cons: I wish the gunmetals wouldn't rust, because I'd have those.
I started playing golf in May 2002. I had an old hand-me-down set of clubs with no driver. I plunked the ball out 100 yds at a time and tried to enjoy myself. Once I got some money I decided first to buy a driver (Nicklaus AirMax 360) and learned how...

TA5 irons = Great Value and Great Clubs

by Makman10 , Oct 22 '00
Pros: Great clubs and value
Cons: Somewhat old technology
When i bought my Cleveland TA5 Golf club irons i was happy about getting them for such a good price and from such a great, established brand.

I tried them out in a local golf shop along with some other sets of clubs such as King Cobra Gravity...

Best clubs for the money

by ar_colorado , Mar 11 '02
Pros: Quality, Looks, Feel, Distance, PRICE!
Cons: Lame factory shafts
So I was playing blade irons for the longest time until family life came along and golfing took to the back burner. And with the blades into the dusty garage went my handicap and my swing!

After years of hardly playing I needed to go out and...

Answer to a High Handicapper's Prayer

by wendynowak3 , Apr 18 '00
Pros: Easy to hit, great value
Cons: For 15+ handicapper, could be outgrown
The pain of the high handicapper: You're ready to upgrade from the set you bought to make sure you liked golf. Now you love golf, even if it doesn't love you back and you're looking for forgiving clubs. Callaway X14, Taylor Made Super Steel, Ping I3...

OVERALL
These golf clubs are excelent, I'll rate them 9 1/2 out of 10. I found the handle on these clubs where excellent. The only problem is that when I hit bad, which is not unussual, I cant blame it on the stick, sorry clun any more....

WOW! Great Clubs!

by dado , Jan 24 '00
Pros: Quality, Feel, Price
Cons: ??? None
I've had these irons for about 6 months and they are fantastic! These clubs replaced a set of King Cobra II irons. The Clevelands are much more forgiving, comfortable, and longer, too. I especially like the shaft (TT Dynamic-R) and the styling.

TA5 Chrome 3-PW

by fleetus , Mar 18 '04
Pros: Forgiving, playable and distance
Cons: None
I started out with a used set of Yonex ADX 100i's. Then I started trying various demo clubs from the pro shop. Some models didn't show me much more than the Yonex but a few really blew me away with the improvement on my good swings. This peaked my...

Consistency..."What a beautiful thing!"

by valdameers , Apr 25 '00
Pros: great clubs, soft feel, and great price
Cons: not big name company like Callaway or Ping
I enjoy golfing, even if it means not always winning. Rarely was I ever in contention when it came to friendly games(yeah right) of golf with my buddies. I'm what you may say a raw talent when it comes to golfing. In the past I have lacked the...

Swing away!!

by odiex2 , Aug 05 '02
Pros: Straight, high, long (what else is there?)
Cons: May be difficult to slice or hook if you're in the woods
A number of years ago I started playing some of the irons on tour (and taking lessons) to improve my swing. I improved some and enjoy that forged feeling but had a lot of ups and downs. With a couple of small kids I had to cut way back on practice...

Cons: None that I have found yet.
I had been in search of a set of clubs that used advanced technology coz I really wanted to see whether it would bring a change to my game. Till now I was using an old set of Taylor Made DWI blades. After testing numerous clubs I decided to buy these club ...

Best Clubs for the Price

by zulbok , Sep 27 '00
Pros: Lofty, Durable, Comfortable Feel, Smooth Swing
Cons: A little heavy but I like it, better for a fast a swing
If you are looking for a set of reliable irons with a Big Name and a LOW PRICE TAG, then the Cleveland Tour Action 5 Irons are the clubs for you. These offset clubs, have great loft to them, but still go the distance. Before I used these clubs I was...
